THAT IS IT. Can I change my action towards Elephant to straight up TACKLING him, THEN shooting?!

..I suppose so?
And Nirur, I would definitely appreciate that.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

Action change: Hack the simulation to make myself more accurate and shrink my hitbox.

O_o Free for all? Didn't realize that.

I'll just sit in cover and reload my gun, then.

Fight!
Spoiler: Initiative Rolls (click to show/hide)

Cheese seems to of lost consciousness while he was down.

Elephant immediately starts, and decides to try shooting at Felix again. (D12(10) = 10)
The shot burrowed into Felix's chest, causing him to fall to the ground. (Chance Roll: D12(12)) Upon hitting the floor, Felix's internals are damaged heavily, killing him. Elephant then starts reloading his pistol.

Techno, with no time to spare, weakly reaches for his pistol and grabs it with a single hand. He then slowly lifts up the shaking pistol to point at Cheese, and without hesitation, fires two times. (D12(10) - 1(Weakness) - 1(Distance) = 8. D12(9) - 1(Weakness) - 1(Distance) = 7.) The first shot goes straight through Cheese's shoulder, breaking the bone.. The second shot hits Cheese's lower torso. Cheese collapses to the ground, dying. Techno lets go of his gun, satisfied. He faints from blood loss, and eventually dies.

Nirur Decides to try to hack the simulation. The Admin sees this, and Nirur receives a short shock to discourage him from trying again. He decides to stay low and reload his weapon, instead.

Felix is too busy being dead to do anything. Instead, he just quietly loathes Elephant from outside the Simulation.

Rolep also decides to reload his gun, and stays low.

SIMULATION OVER
Actual first round start will come soon. Thanks for the spreadsheet, Nirur. It's very helpful.

I'm quite happy with the progress of this game so far.
At the time of this post, a spambot juust posted something. I was happy at first, for the praise. Then I wondered why it was considered information, then I realized it was a spambot. They're getting better. Sort of.

TEAM ONE

First thing's first. Better armor, better trained units. A base unit wouldn't go amiss either.

Gimme some time. Don't go to the next turn until at least 24 hours from this, please? I don't have enough time as of this moment to do the massive detail I want to. Or the minimal detail I'll need, for that matter.

I'd be perfectly fine with waiting to do the next subturn until you can post.

Team 2

Research: Invest $1500 in basic studies of local biology and geology, looking for mineral veins and data that can be capitalized on and/or sold to core-world scientists.

Building Designs: Small Spaceport for loading minerals for transport to the ship, with attached open-air storage space, a Prefrab Automated Mine for off-site use, and a Small Barracks so our garrison has somewhere to live.

Unit Design: A Militia Squad, armed with one heavy mining laser retuned for melting armor and laser pistols, and a speedy, lightly armored Mineral Shuttle to transport minerals between the mines and our spaceport, and to carry the mines into place over multiple trips. It should be able to carry a squad of soldiers or repair technicians instead of mineral cargo.
