This will be a new competitive game I'll be trying. Every player joins one of two teams, or corporations, and manages both the metagame, along with frequent skirmishes along the way, utilizing your progress from the metagame.
The purpose of this game is to win the most skirmishes, likely with some random events, until your final mission appears. The more skirmishes you've won, the more resources you'll have at your disposal to complete this final mission. If the game survives for a while, after the final mission, another round will start. Probably in a new topic. This is more of a short 'test' round to play with my concept.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

Why is there more then 1 player per team again? That would seemingly only add confusion, and bring no benefit. ???

Anyway, I shall found the Organization for Restricting Alien Nefarious Groups and Enterprises. (Team ORANGE for short).

a1, thanks for bringing that up. There's a reason why this is the 'test round', after all.
Out of curiosity, what does everyone think about player organization? I was thinking something like a two-three per team and one per team per battle, a two to three (again) setup with the first response in a battle being incorporated, or something totally different?

Updated the OP to tinker with the explanations and ask for feedback in a better way.

I'll play.

Multiple people is probably mean to be at least slightly confusing. But it also means you can come up with more ideas, and gets more activity going overall.

I think multiple skirmishes should be had every skirmish point. One for each set of players fighting. Multiple people can gang up at the expense of other battles, can attack two other factions battles, etc. since it's a simple combat system, shouldn't be too hard.

So something like..

SKIRMISH:
Team 1 Member, _________, vs Team Two Member, ________.
Team 1 member, ________2, vs Team Two Member, _______2.

And I would do both at the time fairly easily. That actually makes a lot of sense. If anyone has any different ideas, I'd still be glad to hear them!
Also, for more feedback, here's an example of part of a skirmish. Any suggestions or criticism?

Quote
Skirmish!
PersonOne, Team one, VS Persontwo, Team two.
Team one sends down their expeditionary team consisting of a light tank, while team two's squad of  Scout Infantry w/ SMGs have arrived, at this small sized patch of land. Team two has oncoming reinforcements en route for the third turn, thanks to their VTOL jet infantry carrier they designed earlier.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
____
Player one: Aim at the hill and fire with the light tank.
Player two: Spread out and fortify to brace for the reinforcements
____
The Scouts of Team Two set up a quick perimeter around the expected landing site, while the tank proceeds to aim at the hill, ready to blast it apart (unlikely, considering the light weapons) at a moment's notice. Team Two's transport will be landing soon, carrying a squad of rocket-wielding infantry.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
____
Player One: Move tank left of hill, and open fire on infantry
Player Two: Hold positions.
____
The tank moves to the left, revealing sight of the infantry. The tank immediately opens fire. The first shot misses and kicks up a lot of dirt, but the second shot hits straight on, outright killing the scout. The other scout within range opened fire on the tank with their lower tier SMGs, but the bullets ricocheted off the armor and into the ground. During this chaos, team two's transport was able to successfully land and offload a small squadron of rocket soldiers.

It seems like it would be interesting to have multiple players in one team, both for breaking up teams into tactical groups under each players command, and the whole interplayer planning thing that would probably arise. I'll found the Brotherhood for Liberty, Unity, and Equality (BLUE).

What about the Recursive Energy Dealers? Or the Conglomerate of Young Adventurous Neo-corporations? You can't be thinking of leaving out Secretly Elected Artisans For Organizing Astronomical Masses, Greatly Reducing Egregious External Nuisances?

Anyways, I'm going to do a more organized sign up system. I'll probably first take two to three people for team one, two to three for team two. Then the teams can vote on their name, specialty, and other things relating to their team.
Any feedback before I begin?
