I have confirmed that saving the GAM file increases memory use by, very roughly, 40 MB every time - maybe more if you are making significant order changes, as I recall it often being more than that.  Saving the PLR does not do so.

On my XP box (32bit) running the transformers game, I see the memory go up about 50MB, and then drop right back down.
I kinda expected perl to hold on to the 50MB until it needed it for other things.

Crowe reports seeing the memory grow like yours is, and he's running on win7 64bit.
Are you on win7 too?

Linux.  It might be an OS thing.

My Kubuntu laptop is adding 5 Megs per save to the memory use on the 2v2v2 game.
One thing it shouldn't be doing is regenerating the map call list.  That might be the trick.

Updates are up now.
This should solve the leak when saving.

Memory use will go up the first time as it builds the save, but it should either go back down, or not increase the next time you save.

Another update.

Some bug fixes for the nav view.

Also: locations you can move to now, but that will be unavailable next turn (use-it-or-lose-it) due to hinges or enable/disable commands, will show up in purple.

Cant give any Heading orders in this latest turn. Left-click-hold drag does not work on Nav view.

Edit: Tried full update and new save download - still the same

It could be that the click-drag is broken.
Does it work if you just use the square bracket keys?

Yes the [  &  ]  are working ok.

Never realized those keys work in nav view. Will have my turn up shortly, cheers :)

New client version up.
This fixes the click-drag, and the nav flower which was broken on the ship designer.

A question.  If you put a weapon on a hinge and order the hinge to rotate, will the weapon be able to fire in the new orientation in the same round?
