I would say continue this game, we're learning how to play as a group.

If you could send me your ship file or post a picture, we could help determine what's broken about it.  Or say what corner you're in.  I'm the lower right.

I've already posted my ships, and they seem to be working fine, but...

I have no clue who is in the lower-left corner, but it obviously looks like they're having a lot of trouble with their ship. Since we haven't really started, I just thought that I'd ask.

Yeah, whoever's ship that is doesn't seem to fully understand how shipbuilding works...  Whoever they are should post their ship.emp file so we can compare and help fix it.

Guys, I already said it was my ship.

When I downloaded the update, I copied over the old version of the .emp file that was not finished. Thus the sides were not conneted.

Anyway, I have it handled. The ship will be even better than originally in about... 1 turn.

EDIT: I also built in just one .emp, so I couldn't double-check that it was connected or not. Anyway. I am fine with proceeding as a FFA. Hopefully SJ will add team control in the next version for teams.

Also, a suggestion was to name our ships T1 <name> for team 1, and T2 <name> for T2.

EDIT2: Let's do the T1 and T2 thing. Even is T1, Odd is T2. Also, it seems everyone is here, but hasn't uploaded turns?

As a note, alliance is a legal verb to have in your PLRs, its just that the GUI doesn't have a politics screen :)
It has been lowest priority for ages, since teams were just set on start and never changed again.

I'll be making a screen for it tonight.

In other news, I've started a game against Ethermeister (THANCS Trek Classic)
Ether has four armored Klingon style ships to go up against this ship I made while in the car going to the cottage:

Detatchable saucer for the win! Imma get my ass kicked!

EDIT: Imma post some pictures too, come next turn, when I have a nice spread in the formation.

EDIT2: Here it is. Looks like a bird of prey, only upside down, since I started near the top. The wing angle is too sharp, that's because I was on a sort of budget and couldn't afford to make it look more like one.

They are in formation. Susanoo, Izanagi, Izanami and the Kaminari.

Two remote piloted shuttlecraft take heavy damage from Klingon point defences while the USS Horizon powers into the attacking fleet, scoring a lot of hits against the squad leader, but doing only superficial damage.

Is there a way to view games on a turn-by-turn basis?  Like, review past turns?

Don't believe there is currently. But I think SJ is archiving our games, so chasecams and such will be possible.

I'm saving all the .gam files, they're tiny.
