Oh, there's a bug I fixed in the main game, but probably not in the designer, where the LoS calculation didn't account for things sitting in the same hex as the thrust point.

Murphy's law of updates.

Update:
New build of the client uploaded.

Finally uploaded, using a Draxian designed ship for which I am very grateful.  Sorry all for the delays.

Your ship is only 37k Azrayel, you sure about this?

I am confident in my own stupidity.

Yes, though; I am sure.  It's a learning experience, and I intend to learn quite a bit.

Wowowowow.

Everyone is RED.

I was of the understanding we were doing this 3v3, or not the testrun?

Everyone is red indeed. It seems the game recognized our play as a FFA. So I guess that's that. On unrelated news, I used an old version of my .emp.

The old version, see, had a corvette with the left and right side not attached. Fun times. I am not going anywhere for 2 turns until I fix it.

There's never been a game this big before...

I need to add manual allies control to the game setup script.
And maybe a way to set enemies to show in a different color so you can distinguish enemy A from enemy B.

I feel good about this.  We're already playing the biggest games :P

EDIT: So are we playing teams?  I can avoid shooting at people if we're going to figure out how diplomacy works, or we can just do this FFA.

I've set my server to save all the turns in this game so that I can generate a video replay for you later.

If you name your ships, then it can even do a chasecam thing like in the earlier video.

Re: Naming
First, hover your mouse over the component you want to have the name stencilled on to (hover over a physical hex - the component name and info should appear bottom left on the ship view).
Then hit F2 or Shift-R to start renaming.  Type the name and hit enter to finish.

While typing, you'll see a number next to the name.  This is the name priority which defaults to the cost of the ship, and ensures that when small ships dock, the mothership's name will still be shown on the map.  You can press * / + and - to adjust the priority value manually.

The name follows the component, so if the ship docks/undocks or shatters, the name will stick with the bits you originally intended.

I recommend putting the name either on your bridge, or on the inner most large hull piece.

I've taken my turn.  If we're playing Even vs Odd on 3v3 then I think I'm the only one who came with a warfleet.  I am now engaging Free For All mode on my fleet!

I feel the need to ask: Are we going to restart the game? One of the player's ships appear to be in shambles, and we were supposed to do 3v3 after all. I'm fine with continuing as is, but it just doesn't seem very fair to the person in the lower-left corner.
