Thanks for all the demo plays. Will try to answer most questions below.
The demo has been updated, get it here:
https://www.copy.com/s/Fpra9GIie2BCUpdates of note (now live in the demo, which requires a rip & replace):
- Diplomacy system is live (ally with either the Orcs, Dwarves or Wood Elves to recruit that race's heroes!)
- Event system is live (random events will plague the castle, and you must resolve them to keep your castle alive... tho the actual "lose game" mechanics still aren't in place yet)
- Managing your army is also live now. Many events will call upon your army to fight. You may also send heroes to serve with the army (once the "Wounds" system is in place, this will be an attractive option to send your hero with a missing arm off to pasture).

responses to this thread:
- Global inventory: that's in my plans as part of the kickstarter $. Just need a little help from a better scripter than I.
- rez heroes up to level 5 (it's on my radar... maybe. I also toned down the first few dungeons in the new demo version)
- squire to court group: yup, all fixed in the new demo version. That was a bug.
- throne: yup, it's obvious and there's a ton to do now.
- burial shroud, TPK - thanks, will add to the list
- better party switching: I'm hoping to get that in with the Kickstarter $: a mouse system + drag n drop party management.
- optimize: it just adds the total stats of the current item and compares to other items of the same slot... it's not the smartest, but it's "good enough" for now (the item swapped in may have given more HP or more bonuses to other stats)
- consumable items: yup, it's all there, just not part of the demo yet as I wrestle with the AI to make 'em work right
- 4th member walking: yup, on the list
- party timer: when you goto "Switch party", you can see how many seconds are left... it does "pause" from time to time, so it's only a "general" idea of when they'll be back.
- old well - yup, I need to mark it higher.
- hiring dead heroes: will look into that
- upgrade blacksmith... yeah, that's one of the "demo endpoints" I haven't cleaned up yet.
Again, thanks... you guys/gals are great.
