Ressources localized at negative distances
« on: October 10, 2013, 09:33:49 am »

At first I thought it was because we were on civilian alert, but 1/ everything, including stone stockpiles, is including in the burrow   2/ it stayed even after I disabled the alarm.

This is not preventing me for asking to build the wall using schist, for instance. But it seems very strange ... Should I post in the bug section or is this already known issue ?

As a Urist McFrenchy, please forgive my english

Heck, only the elves would tame a leech. [...] Just for this, I'm starting up lead goblet production. Anyone who tries to sell me a tame leech deserves to die from lead poisoning.

Yeah it's definetly a bug and I saw a bug report on that: http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=4372

It may be a known issue, but feel free to post a comment about it on the mantis bugtracker.

in this thread the problem was heated tiles from magma where dwarves wouldn't walk messing up the pathfinding. In this specific case it could be solved by turning temperatures back on. - the ai sees the path is clear, the magma is gone. However, since the temperature was turned off while it was still there, the tile is still considered dangerously hot and a no-go area. The conflict caused strange numbers to appear

I think I remember some other ways to break pathing to the desired objects would cause negative numbers instead of simply removing the items from the list

Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.
