Not really. I played like, seven games yesterday and they were all under 50 minutes, with most of them lasting about 35 minutes, 40 minutes being the average time. However, those turned into stomps in a way or another, so they prob dont count. The only really long match I had last week lasted nearly 1 hour and 10 minutes.

I played a 25, 35, 45, and 55 minute game yesterday, one after another. Weird.

I played a game that lasted 50 minutes a couple days ago because the other team didn't seem to know how to push correctly, so they kept dying near the end. They got mega creeps by a point, though, so it was all moot.

I think VS has gotten super good these days, which I like. I always loved playing her.

Late in the game nobody wants to kill you because of the huge 36% debuff so you can just wander around with complete impunity. The bonus range to swap seems tiny but it's a pretty big thing for people used to VS. Heroes that used to be "just out of range" are now fucked. I've played her a fair bit since the change and I've almost always caught people now with my low level swap. I think this has something to do with her autoattack range and the resulting positioning it places VS at. E.g: I rarely need to "run forward" before doing the swap so enemy players can no longer see me telegraphing my attack. Unless I'm running from really far away.

She's also one of those supports that become fearsome in the late game. Her huge (and it really is huge) damage buff is crazy strong when everyone is maxed out and in a phase of the game where being out of position for even one second = lost game, it's literally all she does. Unlike Batrider her displacement is completely instant and presents the enemy team with a big dilemma. You can kill VS in return for the target but then your whole team does almost half damage, or you can let her go so she can do her shenanigans again. Also unlike Batrider, she can and will also constantly save her teammates. The cooldown is so short that she doesn't need to think about it at all. Pudge hooked someone? Swapped. Drow got someone stuck in slow arrows? Swapped.

Then there's her armour debuff, another amazing late game skill and great for Roshan.

I think the best part about her is that all her skills are so low cooldown and use quite little mana, which means you are always doing shit on VS. Also Icefrog gave her blink dagger. No words can explain how massive a buff this gives her. Blink dagger VS is just crazy. The initiates are so brutal and quick most people don't even realize they've been swapped and are about to die. Her range really is absurd. She can mark someone to die from 2400 range away. TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED! You literally won't even see her in your screen before you get swapped. I remember one of my greatest ever swaps to catch a fleeing Naga Siren was a force staff + blink + swap. I traversed almost 3000 units in less than a second. When I watched the replay, the Naga Siren didn't even realize she was caught.

I've also noticed that regarding the dilemma of killing VS, enemy players are generally willing to make that trade, but only if it's easy. For example, I've rarely ever seen the enemy team expend stuns to kill off my super swap. So whenever I buy a ghost scepter it's like I'm immortal. Or at least immortal long enough to escape or make them change their target to someone else.

Venge was always a great hero due to her flexibility, you can literally use her in any team and she'll make a great addition, and she only challenge in playing her is being able to make decisions quick due to single target stun and swap. Now with her buffs and the new gameflow she's much better and carry venge can show up in any game now.

I almost lost due to a massive alch fueled comeback because our skywrath mage got like 21 kills and decided he was somehow a carry and died alone for no reason multiple times, breaking our offense. My AM gold per min wasn't ideal tho, I should've probably been more brave and farm lanes and not just jungle and ancients because I was antimage. Also should've prob got a basher instead of going straight for butterfly after manta, battlefury and heart :P

The main thing I see is the Tower Damage difference. If Templar actually hit a single damn tower, they might've won. Or anyone on their team except Jakiro.

Most likely. The impression I got was that neither team knew when to push. Our furion and skywrath got picked off alone for no reason (furion took a while to realize that they actualy had vision and shadowblade alone wasn't going to save him) and our sniper had a really hard time doing anything till the very late game because lanaya always singled him out in fights. Not only that but skywrath and everyone else had a huge aversion for buying wards so we had no vision in a game with a mirana.
I remember how they would back off after winning a fight with 4 of us killed and 3 of them alive, including alch and lanaya, for whatever reason. If they had played more agressively they would def have won.

When you are 100% in tune with your inner anti-mage, words like "team" and "fighting" and "teamfighting" will disappear from your head. You will never die because you will never be in fights. You will only see one thing. Gold. A world of most efficient GPM. The chatbox will disappear. The whines of "WE NEED YOU ANTIMAGE WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOINnggg..." will fade away. Only last hit. Only split push.

Or you'll end up looking a lot like this.
Never disappointed when Anti-mage gets brought up, because I know that video will return with him.

WHO LIKES 4 CARRY TEAMS???

(though I think that for some reason Warlock acted as support in that game??? I mean, I guess I played support pl early on, but Rubick gave up on farming, like, 8 minutes in so I jumped on that)

(also i like how rubick and i are the only people who had a friggin tp 35 minutes in)

EDIT: AHAHAHAHA I didn't see the tower damage until just now holy crap oh my god that was a bigger stomp than I thought it was

Super weird All Pick event that requires someone to play PA and to have bought an Arcana set. It also happens in normal games, forces weird picks and makes people need to win both a sub-game of dueling and the actual game?

I predict a lot of angry people both in game and on message boards.

EDIT: Oh, huh. Reddit seems to claim it has a positive effect on games.

Someone on reddit noticed that this is the first time that an event has been locked behind a pay-wall. Gotta say, I wasn't too hyped to see the first glimpse of the PA arcana because I find it rather inconsistent in design, but that revelation really took the hype out of me. Also, Oracle is just a general nuisance, so all pick is a no-go for the next day or two.
