Can two bounty runes spawn at once or not? I read the whole 'one of them is guaranteed to be a bounty rune' as this.

Also, I think you guys saying 'getting the rune used to be 100% luck' is kinda ignoring the whole rune warding and counter warding thing supports were supposed to do.
That and timing your pushes to make sure your creep wave was at the enemy tower, forcing the other hero to lose EXP and Gold for a chance at a rune that chances were you already had.

Now if the guy runs for the other rune, sure.  He can have it.  Along with some gold and exp for his troubles.  Full bottle charges too.

I really don't like these changes to kill bounties. It's absurd how much gold your enemies get if you die while you're ahead. Even botgames have become retarded.

Icefrog really, really, really needs to tone it down.

Other than that Bloodcyka is now hilarious with dagon and e-blade.

40% damage amp on self + 40% increased damage on enemy + 40% bonus damage from e-blade = tonnes of damage.

there was a patch a couple hours ago that toned it down...

also, there are still stomps. I was slightly worried when Razor died to Naga near the end, but we won anyway. Weaver told everyone to report CK for noob (which is ironic, since he died the least); I told him that we're all at 1.8k or so here, so he has no right to call anyone noob. At the end of the game, turns out he had <1100 MMR. I was impressed.

Played another 80 minute rapier bonanza tonight.  When you get to the 80 minute mark whoever picked the greediest lineup wins because everyone is 6 slotted.

ZSMJ, a Chinese Dota player, played a game live on stream where in 7 seconds he got 5800 gold. GPM went from meh to "holy fucking shit" in 7 seconds.

>Nearly kill opposing team
>Kill opposing phoenix thanks to stupid supernova positioning
>Everyone gets buyback, suicide charges enemy team
>Buy back, win fight with last melee barracks at 200 HP

And that's the story of how I went from zero to rapier in 20 seconds as Medusa. I spent most of the rest of the game camped out in our base fending off attacks on our exposed last barracks and ancient. Farmed up a Manta to remove Phoenix's slows and Pugna's Decrepify. Wiped them once, got a free daedalus. Wiped them twice, slithered down mid and won the game. That was a hollow-ass victory to say the least. I should have lost.

Anywho, based Icefrog putting out the patches at 3 AM. Kill streaks are worth a bit less when you end them, and the aoe gold multiplier has been cut in half. I hope this fixes things.

I will say that I don't dislike the changes, but they are far overzealous right now. The late-game slugfest we have feels in a way almost worse than the deathball, because at least the deathball was mercifully quick. Now you can only look at the draft and think "we picked one more support than them. Oh crap." I'm sure tweaks will happen, but as it stands I'm not enjoying the free comeback system. Bounty runes aren't bad.

Yea, right now its just so much easier to rack up a lot of gold in a short time, that support heroes lost their thing (IE being useful without items but not scaling well towards the endgame). Right now its just "team with most carries and enough brain to not feed constantly wins".
Tiny should be extra strong now too, considering he scales really well into the endgame and having two runes up means he never runs out of bottle charges :v

So how to play Dark Seer?

Because I have no freaking clue, I mean, I know how he could work and be useful but it just isn't there when I'm playing it. Fucking horrible. Been stuck on him for some four games now :C

Bottle is now just insanely snowball prone if your opponent lets you get both runes even once as a caster.  Just run back and forth and spam spells to push lane.

So how to play Dark Seer?
Used to be you would go off-lane and spam Ion Shell on your melee creeps (or yourself when diving or chasing or generally killing, unless in team fights and then onto whomever was more deserving).  It would kill creeps for you and get you gold and harass enemies simultaneously (if dumb and got near the spiky creep in the lane).  Build mana hungry and support (soul ring, mek, Phase Boots to chase people with) and generally just put pressure on a lane.  Other skill choices decided on the specific game:  Am I being chased after a lot?  Get surge.  Do I need to disable someone's channeling?  Get his Q (I always forget that name).

His ult damages those who move through it and makes a clone of them, position it somewhere they have to run through, or pull them through it using your Q.  Extra points for cloning their 'Dusa with a rapier and her Split Arrows on.

Note:  Not sure how he plays now, what with all the recent changes and whatnot (concerning gold and nerfing early game).  If it's fixed, he's back to how should be and that's a general guide.  If not, abandon all hope ye who enter here.

Bonus damage like Rapier doesn't apply to illusions, only base stats. You'd be better served cloning their Medusa with a Skadi and a Butterfly. Or their Luna with her +damage aura for your team.

The early game is basically the same, farm with ion shells, bully melee heroes because they can't fight back against a high level ion shell, save Surge for getting away from lanes with lots of slows like Venomancer. Dark Seer is tanky, so aura items like Mekansm, Pipe, Vlads, etc are all really good on him. If the enemy has carries that rely on passives or raw stats to scale, your wall is a game-winning ability. Get aghs and you can literally kill the entire enemy team with souped-up versions of their own carries.

Oh, well I stand corrected on the illusion part.  I keep forgetting finite details, then again I never play the pointy-headed bugger because I just find him boring to play. 

Just slap Ion Shells onto anything people get near and watch them cower in fear, or get a bottle and get an invisibility rune.  Place shell on self, turn invisible, stand next to their supports.

That sense of creeping horror when you realize your fat carry doesn't know how to carry.  Lvl 22, most gold in the game, still can't initiate to protect ancient.

I went 18/5 as Timber today and our Legion Commander still couldn't carry with the huge amount of space I created.
