I think she's pretty good. Even 10 damage is nothing to sneeze at as when you first get it you're effectively increasing her damage by 20% every time you successfully pull it off. Big problem with it is that it's melee range so she more or less requires a blink dagger to function. The problem is that she's quite item reliant too as she is pretty squishy without tanky items. So you can't blink into an enemy carry and hope to survive if you have no other items.

Though if she has a blink dagger, roaming team ganks would probably be quite fearsome. Until enemies get Linkens.

Does anyone know if adding a "kills" or "wards placed" gem to a courier will work? From what little I could find with the power of Google, some say yes, some say no, some say some of the gems work and others do not.

I bet you probably cant put those kinds of gems on a courier, seems the easy and most probable answer.

I got a cursed horse for Kotl from the Wraith Night thing and the gem was "Demons Imprisoned".

After I played Kotl, I got a Demons Imprisoned: 1. Not really sure what happened.

Also, apparently I buy shittonnes of wards, as that game also upped my wards bought counter to 19.

Had a game against Tresdin as CM the other day.

I was blink dueled repeatedly. Could not do anything. If I was in range to even touch the enemy team with the edge of my frost nova I was also a snack.

That's about par for the course when I go CM against LC.. I'd say the first mistake your team made was giving them enough time (and maybe space) to farm up their core; but without seeing the replay I can't say much more.

I played a super unkillable Centaur with berserker's blood and Abbadon's ultimate. Went 6 0 bahahahhaa. Then later I played AIDS Visage with battle hunger, leech seed, and AA's ice feet thing. Also killed everything!

Oh ya, and Iceiceice's Invoker Forge Spirits dropped for me, and suddenly so many people are adding me trying to get me to trade it.

Is ability draft basically just random OMG from d2ware, or closer to Legends of Dota?

It's like this:

All 10 players get random heroes like all random.

Then they go into a draft screen where all the skills and ultimates of the heroes chosen (and another two random more) are in the pool.

After that, people take turns choosing the skills they want. You're limited to one ultimate. The choosing order is done so everyone gets an equal chance. e.g: If you went first the first round, you'd go last the second round.

Your stats, stat gain, range, etc. are all the same as the normal hero.

It also made me understand that all of Huskar's skills are amazing when someone other than Huskar uses them.

That sounds really weird.

And yeah, Huskar's kit is pretty much complete bullshit. It's surprising that he's not first pick/ban every single game. His heal is completely insane on anyone who has the mana pool for it (cough cough someone whose only skill with a mana cost like say... Huskar), his W has absolutely no place stacking like a fucker, his E is permanent magic immunity with a side effect of attack speed, his R is one of the best damn gap closers in the game.
