I'd use nether blast to find the actual PL and then drain HP out of that.
Wouldn't a PL just... not fight a pugna, in a situation like that? Keep it engaged with spare illusions, but have the actual PL somewhere else, doing other stuff.

Mm... yeah, it was. Maybe farm jungle with the actual PL and tie up the pug and/or lane with some of the illusions? Out gold/xp it and either flat crush it or have a go at base trading (a race which you'd win).

Unless the jungle isn't there, in which case bah.

At the advice of some guy on Reddit, I learned how to chokepoint jungle.

I can't believe I've never done this before. It makes such a massive difference.

Basically you learn certain trees to cut down so you can stand in places where you get attacked by as few jungle creeps as possible. It's a pretty basic technique that I never bothered to learn.

I tried to use it to do Ursa'a level 4 Roshan but my luck was apparently really shitty and I kept getting bashed by him. 5 bashes in a row both times. Though under normal circumstances, it would mean a 4 - 5 minute Roshan and level 7 on Ursa with morbid mask + boots + stout shield + 50% of a blink dagger.

Did they change the mask and fury swipes interaction? Orb effects you know?

Yes, they changed it so fury swipes works with orb effects, thats why ursa can use morbid mask and venom orb now.

GL farming jungle with 8 second/4 second duration PL illusions, down from 20 seconds on them all.  The trigger rate is reduced from 12% to 8% on your illusions too.  Up to 50% on the hero though.

Bloodstone e'er time on ogre magi now.

This patch brought lots of changes, surprisingly many of them even good.

Edit: You guys did notice that the 6.82 notes are out, right?

Both Riki and Treant have returned to their roots with one having permanent invisibility at level 1 and the other having his old wards back.

There's so many changes. Even the map has been changed. XP has been changed. Denies have been changed. Damage types have been completely overhauled.

Tower gold has been changed. Fortify has been changed.

It's really hard to say how anything is going to be.

IMO, biggest change is the total removal of composite and hostile hp removal and changes to bkb function WRT pure damage.  Second to that, in overall changes, is the total removal of passive disable.

Edict is physical.
March of Machines is magic.  Also, eth blade only etherizes the target.  Tinker dies in a fire. THANK GOD!
Fatal Bonds matches damage type dealt and is reduced by the corresponding defence.

Bkb now provides Spell Immunity and 100% magic resistance.  Oh, and it's duration is tied to hero, not item.  IMO, one of the biggest meta changes hinges on whether silencer and od are supposed to be able to use their orbs on Spell Immune targets.  Impetus does go through BKB.

Doom, Chronosphere, and Duel no longer disable passives.  You'll be able to beat smart voids if you've got a big, smart PA.

ed: granted, smart voids are always going to have MKB late-game, now.
