Only one report is counted per game. Multiple reports in one game will not count against you to prevent stack brigades or general "report dazzle" type things.

You probably just have less games than me, since I've definitely been reported a few times for being bad and even abandoned a few games (one just a couple days ago; internet dropped out while playing) and I've never gotten low prio.

Yeah, except it's not the first time it's happened recently. Just the most aggravating incident. Usually I am unfazed by these things, but that was too much bs.

My worst recently was going Nyx (because he was next in the champ challenge) and pretty much being told to go bot with Antimage because all the other lanes were decided. Antimage declares that I'm supp because lol you're Nyx (that's another thing i dislike when compared to lol, you don't make someone a support and then call the champ assasin, it's retarded). So ok, I try supporting even tho the asshole raged every time i approached the minions, it was especially funny when he went back and they pushed to our tower so I last hit two minions while he was gone, he tp's in and starts screaming for me to stop touching the minions.

So I switch after two deaths because It wasn't very fun to just sit around and wait to be killed. I switched with Lich up top who was with Jugg. After like three minutes Jugg is mostly absent from the lane, doing god knows what wherever, leaving me, with no items, no levels and no money to 1v2 them. Of course their mid keeps dropping in constantly and they happily murder me while the rest of the team ignores my calls for help.

And then it's my fault I went 0/8 :I

Tho it's nothing compared to my current Clinkz streak, mostly because he's next in line for the challenge and I've had four or five losses with him, but when I take someone else and it's an easy win :I

Also anyone have any idea when will people get tired of Techies? It's really annoying having them in every match.

People will likely get tired of Techies when they get tired of Pudge.

Which is to say he'll probably be in every match for a while to come. Avoid all pick, if possible.

Also, LoL made up the assassin role, Dota doesn't have one Also, Nyx can be played as carry, they just made you support because they're a dick. Nyx is not a bad support at all, but he's certainly not confined to it.

Dota heroes are a lot more flexible overall so you really need to adapt depending on what lane and what team you end up on. Lane support nyx isn't so bad due to his line stun and mana burn (which works great against low mana carry heroes like chaos knight and Wraith King).
I wouldn't really say nyx is a carry at all. He's a semi carry thats geared to kill specific heroes in one huge burst and being a jerk to squishy int things in general, and his playstyle is a bit different from other heroes so, till you get more used to the game mechanics, you should prob avoid him.

Also, jungling in Dota is veeeeeery different from LoL jungling and its usefulness varies a lot from game to game, and lycan isn't the easiest hero ever so, dont feel bad for not doing well as him. But yea, you'll find jerks in any game.

I just managed to win a game as solo lane Jakrio vs a duo Bloodseeker and Sand King. I should've died so much in that lane... My team was also fucking great. I was shifting top as two of our guys were initiated on. I threw down an ice path, which save one of them, then suddenly in comes the rest of our team. I think we wiped them.

He is an assassin. Vendetta, Mana burn, and Impale all let him massacre high-int squishy heroes, many of whom are opposing supports. He doesn't need money to do that combo, although blink dagger and dagon certainly improve it. Spiked Carapace lets him escape without building durability items, which is always really nice on a support. (Wraith king and Abaddon have their ultimates that let them get into the mix without much fear as well.) He can be very useful with farm, but Antimage can't be good without it because Antimage is a terrible hero that that guy should feel bad for picking. Picking Antimage is basically you demanding your team play 3v5 for 12-20 minutes, since he's soaking up cash on one lane, literally HAS to have someone watching his back the whole time, and then the bastard falls off after 45 minutes anyway.

Also anyone have any idea when will people get tired of Techies? It's really annoying having them in every match.

Soon, I hope. They tend to make matches as lopsided as Antimage picks.

Can't get better if you don't play! I don't mind at all. The skill range of my meatspace friends varies wildly, so I'm used to a lot of levels of the game. (Well, I haven't played much at the tippy top of matchmaking, but maybe one day if I buckle down and really work at it.)
