The funnest thing is to go into Limited Heroes and pick Viper. He counters most of the heroes available, Limited Heroes has a lot of newbies, and you end up with a Sniper and Drow mid.

If anyone wants to know why I built Vanguard, my job in that match was to chase and murder Sniper/Drow. The damage block is great when you consider Viper's attack slow, as it cuts down what little damage they have early game and provides a large chunk of health/regen.

EDIT: The enemy team split pushed, the main problem is that my team had terrible ADD and felt like they had to defend every single time tinker was in a different lane

So what would you guys reccommend as a counter to Phantom Lancer. An item or something, seeing as nobody considered him dangerous until he started getting kills and multiplying endlessly.

I was Lich btw so my best approach was to ult his infinite clones with my iceball of infinite death, the problem was that the bugger had enough presence of mind to run the fuck away every time that happened and just run back in as soon as my ult fizzled out. Pudge ran blademail and that worked somewhat ok, but if it was on CD he was pretty fucked.

Radiance is pretty effective, although usually not something you want to buy on a pure support.

Well I kinda shifted to a carry role since the team itself lacked anything ranged and was mostly buff dudes that had to run all the way to their carries to kill them, or in case of Pudge hook them.

Some of the better options include other carries. Medusa is decent with Split Shot, Sven can cleave through a bunch of clones at once, any melee carry with a Battlefury (Phantom Assassin especially).

The best way to stop a Phantom Lancer is to not let him farm in the first place, though. He's heavily item dependent and very squishy until he gets a heart.

Just had a game as Faceless Void where Shadow Fiend spent the entire game farming Rapiers and not much else. Still won, though, due to the fact that All Random gave us the blessed wombo combo of Faceless Void, Skywrath Mage and Lion.

Faceless Void 20 minute BFury due entirely to PL and Broodmother making me feel that it was necessary. It does not reflect on my normal playstyle.

Battlefury is a perfectly fine item regardless of what Reddit might think of it.

Even the most successful Kunkka player in the world always goes Battlefury first item. It would have made Reddit's brains explode except for two things. One. It would imply they have brains. Two. They're so fickle and subservient to celebrities and incapable of forming their own opinions.

Honestly, they should know by now that only SingSing is worthy of adoration.
