I was trying to figure out if the change to Ursa's fury swipes changes his skill build much.

Hard to say, especially with only 4 games and against bots. I mean, when you fight bots with a pubstomper like Ursa, you just pubstomp them... so all I have to measure is different degrees of pubstomp.

Anyway, I still think vlads is pretty much first item on him. You can't solo rosh with just the lifesteal skull as Rosh will kill you with bashes (and you won't be high enough level). If you're going to rope a teammate in, then you didn't even need the lifesteal skull to begin with.

The other reason for vlads is because while his fury swipes aren't a unique attack modifier any more, plenty of other things is... and this includes lifesteal from anything except vlads. So if you ever want to stack lifesteal with diffusal or desolator or whatnot, you need vlads.

Other than that, what's the most common second item for Ursa? It's always blink. So that hasn't changed, cause he still needs to reach people to kill them.

So realistically, we're looking at a third or fourth item here and by then the effects are really hard to see. How do you tell if a third item diffusal is better than a third item desolator? I think the biggest thing too is that Ursa has never, ever needed more damage. He just needs to touch people and they explode.

Essentially, I don't think the change is that big for Ursa. Unless for some reason you're skipping vlads altogether and going with the first item mask of madness.

diffusal will be great, slow is always fun on ursa. stacked with earthshock it will be over 100% I believe.
on the other hand - MoM! you could probably kill rosh with it. must try it sometimes.
Yeah, it gives 20 LS now after patches, so it's more than even vlads.

Morbid Mask allows level 3 solo Rosh now, assuming you get lucky with the bashes.

Orb of Venom is the most obvious one to get as Ursa, just because slow's good. It's actually an early-game item in the new recommended build, incidentally.

A gif that shows a trap you can now set using Lich. (Don't do it, it wastes like three ultis)

Idk, sounds pretty useful to me, not for the kills but for the ability to deny the enemy the chance to farm ancients.

Level 3 rosh only works if you get to level 3 with items before minute 4 or whenever rosh gets the massive buff.

Anyway, our pudge hooks wraith king into the woods, trapping him behind his body. huskar jumps pudge, and veno drops a ward, pinning them all.
This was just a horrid game for dire, heh.

The worst fail I had was this game just today--I was Rubick, pushing near the end of the game. Enemy Death Prophet fires off an emergency ult. Seeing an opportunity, I begin running towards the Death Prophet, force staff myself into steal range, steal her ult then use it. Timbersaw and Outworld Deverber both converge on me, a chakram is thrown on top of me and... Devourer uses his disrupt. Naturally, my ult continues without error, Devourer runs and Timbersaw quickly flees into my friendly local well-fed Yurnero. (He apologized for kill stealing early on when I helped him kill someone in our lane O_o weird people don't get what support does)

So basically a normal game with Rubick, I'd imagine.

New update to the test patch.

A bunch of bugfixes. I find it interesting that the notes didn't mention Oracle's Purifying Flames skill's targeting being fixed to allow both enemies and allies instead of just allies...

Played a couple games of all random today. Learned that I'm terrible at Morphling and that Drow makes damn good Rat Dota.
