So, I just finished the finals of the tourney with uklele, he won 2:0.

The matches were Puck/Shadow Shaman, both of which were his victories.

Also I think that the idea of rotating pot is a very nice one, but it would require everyone to donate one item to join tourney. I think it would discourage new players from joining, and we need some fresh blood here!

I thought that this was just for the tournament at first as well. Not sure why we had to abandon the old thread anyways. It seemed healthy enough.

Well, mostly it's that the OP is inactive so we'd never be able to change the opening posts or the thread title. With this thread we can make announcements more visible. Although this title isn't entirely obvious this is the new general DOTA 2 thread.

Added Aghanim's upgrade: reduces Mystic Flare's cooldown from 60/40/20 to 20/10/0

I am so pumped for mass dunking with Axe it's unreal. Culling Blade makes your whole flippin' team attack 40% faster. Holy oglodi that's amazing. And Disruptor's new Aghanim's Scepter upgrade? Why yes, I would like a 450 AOE doom.

Oh my god, this patch...

Roshan will respawn at a random time between 8 and 11 minutes after death

Ranged Heroes now get the same denied experience as melee heroes (instead of less)

Day/Night length decreased from 6 to 4 minutes

Can no longer orb-attack while attack restricted (such as Ethereal or Frostbite) Goodbye Huskar Ghost Scepter!

And a few hero-specific changes:

Culling Blade no longer goes on cooldown if it successfully kills a hero

Thirst is now global instead of 6000 range
Thirst bonus now stacks for each unit that is low HP
Thirst movement speed bonus reduced from 15/25/35/45% to 7/14/21/28%
When Thirst is active, movement speed cap is removed on your hero

Broodmother now has completely unobstructed movement when under the web (can walk over cliffs, trees, etc)

Sacrifice no longer denies enemy XP
Sacrifice now converts your own creep for XP (shared in AoE as normal creep xp bounty)

Divided We Stand leveling rebalanced from 6/11/16 to 4/11/18

Ignite can now multicast to cast at a random enemy unit in 1400 AoE (prioritizes ones that do not already have the debuff)

Skeleton King Base Intelligence increased by 5
Removed Mortal Strike active
Vampiric Aura now provides full effectiveness on ranged units

Shadow Dance can no longer be revealed by Truesight

And lastly, items:

Transmute no longer works against Necronomicon units
Dominate can no longer control Necronomicon units

Linken's Sphere can now be cast on an allied hero to transfer the buff

Reworked Tranquil Boots (no more active, passive +10 HP/sec regen when not broken, retains 60 MS and +4 armour when broken, can't be disassembled)
