Also what's our team name?
Urist's Army?

Also, thanks for the airship tips, it turns out you actually don't need to have the map spawned with floating islands to get at some antigravitite, if you can cast some transmutation magic to the point of reversal spells, then you can just dig down and convert half of it.

Well, there are many ways to skin a cat, I suppose.

On the topic of team name, I was thinking about something on the lines of Apocalyptic Occult Extraordinaries (AOE).
Something to that degree. (and the acronym)

So, I just started this up, and I happened to roll Manager. All I have to say is... wow. How is an economy class this powerful in combat. And why don't I see more people playing him?

People don't expect a business man to be able to pull a rocket launcher from thin air so they just pass him off in the select screen. Oh I can now sacrifice my spore units to give others armor!

So far we're good on the economical side of things (AFAIK, Truffle and Corvander pair really well) and we also have a strong support in the form of me (Ivan).
All we need is a killer-carry squad (preferably the ICB [Initiation, CC, Burst] one) and we're set.

Though I'm pretty sure that we're looking for more members, given that the team sizes are not strictly limited to 3v3 or 5v5.

So our teamname is AOE, we have two minion champs (Corvander, Truffle), and a supp (Ivan). Corvander has incredible burst (his Bone Spear, Poison Shot), Truffle has zoning (Rampant Growth) and ridiculous lifesteal (his passive gives him a percentage of whatever damage his minitruffles do as healing).

Wer's in as well, with D.R.O.N.E. Fairly bursty and tanky earlier on, so he can cover me and Truffle while we get our power up, but he peters out late game.

hoooooooooo boy i forgot how fun the early game was in here

i'm building mechs on bronze age tech since i ran out of salt and got kicked back to pre-start, which back when i started pre-expansion was only possible by funding rebels in your own domain and they managed to wreck some critical infrastructure

and holy hell are they unbalanced. you get a 0.2% chance to call down the wrath of a major deity, with exponential growth for every additional priest inside the hull, though it likes to consume wood by the galleyload (boat included) but as long as the northern woodlands are kept tame i'm set to beat these nerds with pre-industrial but low-army and launch myself straight to lategame if i manage to get a horde pillage bonus. after that i should be somewhere near the top 5 of the glorious 250 deathmatch of a round

start class usurper, by the way. it is one of the best ones as you just usurp your enemy and abuse your cha to make him illegitimate

Don't forget ruffle gets a massive boost whenever one of his stronger minions dies.

We need an different thread for Elltycopi and Elltycopiae. I don't play the former anymore. :/

Did a small casual game to get a handle on the controls and such. Randomed miner and started on a small island. Tried mining under the ocean a few times but a few deaths by drowning stopped that idea from succeeding. By the time our team had even half grouped up the enemies had built up enough power to roll through us and our statue in only a couple of hours. I still learned something from the experience but with enough randomization thems the ropes. I'm hoping those kinds of games are relatively infrequent. I must say for such a complicated game the community is seems nicer overall than other MOBAs. Could be because we might have been all newbies in the game and as such all in the same boat but hey.

The community is indeed much nicer than in other MOBAs.
Until you enter the competitive scene and the Adamantine League, anyway. It gets gross in there.

But then again, it's the same with every other game ever in that respect, so no surprise here.

Toxicity aside, TGD announced that they noticed people enjoy Antique Edition far more than regular Elltycopi, so they're going to cease development of the first version in favor of Antique Edition. There might be some smaller updates to it from time to time, but Elltycopiae is now in the spotlight.
Who would've thought, right?

In celebration of this, they've announced the The First C'tyhnpiadca!
Chaotic Tournament You Have Never Participated In And Don't Care About is a go! The winners get to design a new hero and some smaller phatloot like golden names and of course, LODSAMONIE!

I think it's fair to say that we (AOE) should participate in this. Luckily for us it's 4v4v4v4, so we don't need more people. (though the bigger rotation the merrier)

I like the fact that everyone has suddenly forgotten Incendia. I'm sorry, but as long as I can keep up a mana pool, you have literally no chance of moving anywhere, and then Crystal Rain to your face. It's quite amusing, actually-our Ivan was being chased down by about 5 enemies at once, so I just kited them, spraying the area with Dragon Frost, and by the time they noticed, they already had 0 move speed and were pretty much next to each other. One Crystal Rain killed them all. Of course, I then got hit by a random boulder. I guess they had a catapult made while I wasn't looking.

NINJA: I looked at the patch notes for Antique and damn Incendia got nerfed. Crystal has a smaller area, Dragon Frost has a larger cooldown... she's still good, but aww  :'(

At least she's still viable.
Have you seen what they've done to Ponce de Leon? Poor fella got nerfed so hard that I don't see him outside of All Random and Copper League matches. So sad.

But then again, hero diversity in the higher leagues is borderline nonexistent. There's an Ivan in every game now. (well, there definitely is when I'm playing, because I'm an Ivan main, but still :P)

There are talks of nerfing Ivan's Minion Punt a bit. They're also nerfing his Entrenching.
