Did a small casual game to get a handle on the controls and such. Randomed miner and started on a small island. Tried mining under the ocean a few times but a few deaths by drowning stopped that idea from succeeding. By the time our team had even half grouped up the enemies had built up enough power to roll through us and our statue in only a couple of hours. I still learned something from the experience but with enough randomization thems the ropes. I'm hoping those kinds of games are relatively infrequent. I must say for such a complicated game the community is seems nicer overall than other MOBAs. Could be because we might have been all newbies in the game and as such all in the same boat but hey.
Threads for games like these are amazing, but make me somewhat sad because no one will ever be awesome enough to make a game like this. Poorly disguised ptw is a go.
The community is indeed much nicer than in other MOBAs.
Until you enter the competitive scene and the Adamantine League, anyway. It gets gross in there.
But then again, it's the same with every other game ever in that respect, so no surprise here.
Toxicity aside, TGD announced that they noticed people enjoy Antique Edition far more than regular Elltycopi, so they're going to cease development of the first version in favor of Antique Edition. There might be some smaller updates to it from time to time, but Elltycopiae is now in the spotlight.
Who would've thought, right?
In celebration of this, they've announced the
The First C'tyhnpiadca!
Chaotic Tournament You Have Never Participated In And Don't Care About is a go! The winners get to design a new hero and some smaller phatloot like golden names and of course, LODSAMONIE!
I think it's fair to say that we (AOE) should participate in this. Luckily for us it's 4v4v4v4, so we don't
need more people. (though the bigger rotation the merrier)
