Well, great.
They just implemented a bunch of ghosts from Ghost Master - kind of a late Halloween update, they said.

Namely we've got:
Aether
Arclight
Banzai
Black Crow
Blair Wisp
Blue Murder
Boo
Brigit
Buck
Carter
Clatterclaws
Cogjammer
Darkling
Daydreamer
Dragoon
Electrospasm
Fingers
Firetail
Flash Jordan
Ghastly
Hard Boiled
Harriet
Hogwash
Hypnos
Knuckles
Lady Rose
Lucky
Maxine Factor
Moonscream
Quiver
Raindancer
Scarecrow
Shivers
Sparkle
Static
Stonewall
Stormtalon
Terroreyes
The Painter
Tricia
Wavemaster
Weatherwitch
Wendel
Whirlweird
Whisperwind
Windwalker
Wisakejak

That's 47, THE BIGGEST AMOUNT OF HEROES in a single update, Jesus Christ! New meta much?
TGD sure does pump out incredible amounts of content, but this one is just mindblowing.

Of course, EVERY DAMN TEAM now has a Wisakejak or Harriet. Great.

Hmmt.
Surprised to see nobody discussing this anymore, which is sorta sad. :(

I'm bringing this back up because I was bored and decided to boot up the game again.

First game. Roll Melting. (who's apparently a relatively new char)
Two out of three enemy teams had summoner-heavy lineups.

And as you know, Melting's strength revolves around making corpses explode.
Do I need to say what happened?

Oh, and I swear to God that Omnirifle is the most fun item you can get - basically it's a rifle that instead of bullets shoots spells. (and you don't even need a lot of mana, since it uses "mana bullets" that you can craft en masse)
Good for melee char.

You do, however, need a lot of resources for it, and in my experience it's not really worth getting unless you rush it and it's redundant on anyone with any degree of ranged abilities.

While dicking around with Lucky, I somehow managed to bug my rocket launcher, it now fires Rockets constantly, and it is VERY powerful, it can kill almost anything as long as it stays on point, but ill be damned, I cant stop it :c

Alright, I need help - got any tips on how to play as Dragoon?
He seems like a very good character, but I can't play him for $hit.

I mean, I got the general grasp of his skills and playstyle, but I can't really keep up in battle on my own. And I'm still strictly following the suggested item build.

Help? I really want to be able to zoom around the map and decapitate minions and heroes alike, but I just can't seem to be any sort of good at it. :(

you mean arkadt's? it's a trollbuild, ror

see how it leaves you with high agility but then burdens you with so much armor you can barely go 3 hexes per tick? yeah, ditch that. you need to load up on durability with your skill points and throw all your dosh into speed, at level 20 you'll be able to solo a dragon and craft a good lance out of the scales (only works if map contains dragons and the other teams didn't farm them into extinction yet)

basically you're a weak support until level 4 where you can start doing your own thing, not sure how people think that class is balanced but then onion knight is a thing that happened and keeps happening

Or build Godhand. Gives all of Dragoon's needed stats, it's active scales so well for him, it's practically a required item to play him.

Thanks. I'll check those out later.
On an unrelated note, I'm seeing a surprisingly high amount of Sandro players lately. I thought Renom nerfed him in the last patch? :o

Aaand today we witnessed the addition of the 1999th and 2000th hero.
Well, it's technically two heroes if you think about it.

Kris, the Blind Knight and Hamon, the Grandblade

The thing is, Hamon is actually a weapon (a gunblade no less) who serves as Kris' eye (what with Hamon being the mind and an eye of his creator in lieu of the armguard) who possesses his own seperate skill set.

The fun thing is that you can get someone to craft Kris artificial eyes so that he can see without Hamon, and then pass him onto someone else.

And who is excellent at using melee weapons but could still use some ranged options?
Yup, pretty much everyone, but Dragoon in particular.

Sure, Kris gets extra bonuses when equipping Hamon, but you can always build into a regular gunblade and still do fine, since Kris' skills are good enough to go without Hamon.

Feel free to argue whether Hamon is a full-fledged hero or the most complex item in the game.

The Godhand was definitely one. They synergise too well for it not to be the case. As for the greaves though, not sure.

Well, a few of Hamon's lines mention Voidrunner's Treads, so there's that.
Oh, and apparently the Shattered Skull is involved, too.

Just built all of them on Corvander. They synergise ridiculously well, even on a champion who can't make use of all of them properly.

Just need to build Shattered Skull and Ermer's Visage.
