He's immune to Cancel Regeneration.

Looking up though, if everyone has a Time Dial, that can slow down all effects he has. Doesn't stop his stupidly high damage, but whatever.

Time dial plus doom weapons?

From what I know, summoner minions get debuffs against him. As does poison.

Time dial's been patched. Using it now causes him to counter with both Haste and Cataclysm, which is a nasty move that inflicts massive damage and summons demons using a dark rift.

Maybe we shouldn't try to mindlessly try to outDPS/outspam/outheal him.
Maybe he has a weak point that we first have to discover...

Or wait for a new hero that's OP on release and take advantage of this before the devs normalize that hero.

I say both. Scout for the weak point now, and wait for the hero.

So far no signs of a weak point, but there are rumors of not one, but THREE new heroes being on the way, so there's that at least...
Although people on the forums seem to be working their absolute asses off just to find that thing's weakness.

Heard a funny rumour that shooting it in the groin would be its weak spot.

In fact, shooting it in the groin berserks it, causing it to do twice the damage and makes it immune to poisons (usually, it's partially resistant).

...they literally just patched that now. Hastega makes it even angrier.

...huh. Have you tried lv. 5 Haste with Rijja and a Shard Eye equipped? It has a chain effect, and special counters to chain effects have always been TGD's weakness. Her innate skill and a Shard Eye should allow her to switch perceived allegiances for long enough to cast it, too.

Of course, the fifth level is hella hard to get when you're having your nexus punched in but I've made some pretty good progress on it, and think that with the right amount of blockers the maximum time you could possibly get before your team's down is about 20 minutes. That assumes no fuckups. At all. I have no idea what you would do after casting it, but if it works the way Hastega did you're essentially going to end up with a triple(?) inversion effect and with the 200% buff from allies bonus is going to do some serious freezing.

I'll tell you how that works when I try out my strategy involving Manager's ult and a load of explosives.

Guys.
Guys.
GUYS!

I think I got it.
Ever noticed how his third toe on the left leg shines for a second while he's casting an ability? (you probably didn't, because he wears armor and you're probably a good distance away from him)

Apparently if you manage to hit it with an arrow it'll take away 17.5% of his HP in one go, regardless of used skill.

The problem lies in timing it so that you don't miss the toe and survive to hit him there enough times.
I have not seen this posted anywhere else yet, everyone still seems to struggle with more ordinary ways.

Anyone up for the breakthrough round versus The Red Baron?

I've noticed that when I managed to get his armor on the feet broken, which also required me to burn through his adamantine socks. Bloody tough adamantine socks. Lost a perfectly-built J'lez for that!
