Bumping this thread for the glory of...
I don't even know anymore.

In any case, the First Chaotic Tournament You Have Never Participated In And Don't Care About has ended recently, and the team UFO (Unidentified Fragging Objects) claimed the title of First Elltycopiae Champions, skins for every hero in the goddamn hero, skin subscription (get-every-skin-from-now-on-for-free) plus bragging rights.

Also the devs have been pushing out tons of patches, too.
And boy are they not wonderful.

Pubstomper Vivil building into attack speed (which makes his ult a nightmare)? Check.
Terrible teammates? Check.
Bad map luck? Check, check and check.

At least I'm having fun playing as N'lyn. There's nothing more satisfying than activating Crit Aura (which stacks with the crit chance from your passive), using Link Dome and watching the "CRITICAL HIT!" lines in the combat log. Totes insane.

Magic is really fun, especially when your not designed for it, because as A drone you only suppose to use technology, but somehow i'm able to cast both Magic missile and nano Beam, which is rather powerful, and most other early-midgame magicsm which is NEAT.

Hmm. I'm seeing a surprising amount of Enolas (my bad, it's not Elona, it's Enola), Trinnies and Corvanders lately. Moreso than DR-4-GONs last week.
Must do with the recent change to the new unlock system where instead of paying for them you get those Hero Tokens that you can unlock heroes with.

Fine and dandy until you realize how much it pissed off the people who paid for those heroes. (myself included)
Well, we got some cool-looking skins at least.

I have the Rockstar Corvander and Groupie Skellies skin.

Funny when Corvander nails you with a flying guitar.

Even funnier when an enemy goes down to groupies.

I heard they added A new Summoner, The "Emperor" It appears he just summons Legions of legionary's, Basically A Zerg rusher, but with Bulky Soldiers instead of aliums.

Ponce de Leon totally isn't OP.
Nope.

Not at ALL. He's a perfectly balanced hero who keeps the fun factor of the game while being totes fair to play as and against.
Damn right.

Seconded. You know a hero's OP when it can survive a ten man gank and kill nine of them.

While taking scratch damage.

People on the main forums keep telling me that he only becomes OP with a very specific cross-build with Urist.
DOESN'T CHANGE THE FACT THAT HE IS BROKEN AS HELL WITH IT.

Cross-builds are broken in general and they're becoming progressively more meta.
Then again, the meta favors DPS over burst and Ponce fits right into it.

On a side note, I encourage you to buy at least one charity skin. Not only they look pure badass (and AFAIK every hero got an associated charity skin) and it's nice knowing that you're helping someone out there. C:
Got myself a Make-A-Wish Delfi and Child's Play Trinnie.

TGD is a great company.

So, just started playing the game and... well... is there any reason that Resonance is allowed on maps that have no underground areas? Seriously, he's all about sound but your as good as dead early and mid game without some way to bounce your sound attacks. And even then he's bad late game when you've collapsed all of the caverns in the area.

Resonance has always been an early-game player, but he can be useful if you get the right setup late-game.

Also, Mecha Manager is amazing. I'm just saying.

The fact that Mechromancer mixed with Mech manager can create HUGE weapons of doom is almost OP.

I swear it is impossible to beat the 20 vs. 1 mode.

For those who don't know. "Red Baron", the giant-ass mech which everyone has to fight:

1. Has the health of a fricken level 30 at the start of the game
2. Summons basically hordes of hero-level units to kick your ass
3. Has huge AoE non-elemental damage to annihilate minions (even the strongest ones die in about 5 seconds)
4. That stupid infinite-range laser (even Ponce de Leon's health gets drained quicker than you can read this)
5. When you deplete his first healthbar, he revives at half health with stupidly high defense and magic resistence, and gets REGENERATION.
6. Is, throughout the entire fight, resistant to every element and immune to most debuffs, and cannot be instant-killed.
7. His ultimate does damage to every building. INCLUDING the nexus. Takes 10 minutes to recharge, but he'll stop you from respawning if ou don't constantly repair it.

This is the closest anyone has gotten to beating him. Note that everyone was literally taking advantage of every abuse in the game, and still lost. That Regen is a bitch.

Also, according to the developer:
Quote from: The Developer
Red Baron is the true final boss of the game. The only nerf he will ever get is if we decide he will join the main cast. Then we need to put a new guy in to replace him. The team sees him as the ultimate challenge for this reason, and we don't want to ruin everyone's fun in beating him.

So we can't just wait. Anyone want to get on how to beat him?
