Found a possible server: skyblock-islands.com
Survival with Faction and PvP are enabled.  Just checked it, there was barely any lag on my computer despite the quality of my computer and 177/250 people online.  I think each faction starts off on their own small skyland-like island and have to build off of it.  Only mod used is one by the name of Spigot server side.

I'll check it out once I dig up my mouse, and get a USB keyboard, since most of my built-in keyboard is broken at this point.

One with combat and destruction might be fun.
This reminds me, I should check into that server that never resets, whatever it's called, I want to see if my buried hoard has been dug out yet. (X ray would make it stick out like a beacon).

Actually it was just the ruined cities that I liked about that place, a reset would be good as long as some ruins were saved and reinstalled.

I'd love to join an anarchic slaughter-and-death server where only the strong powergamers survive. With you guys (and gals? Does Bay12 have gals?) too, of course.

That's the thing, I'm not a powergamer.
I've just checked out Civcraft, it's totally different now, like Civilization played with minecraft, with wonders and victory conditions, huge tech tree and massively expanded economy. Perhaps we could check it out?

I wouldn't mind checking it out.

Starting a new civ is apparently pretty tricky, though. Also, spawns are random across a huge area, so meeting up would be a pain.

Tokens of leadership require leveling up a longhouse by feeding it bread, you get 1 leadership token per level up, but the longhouse has a max of 4 levels so i guess you need 9 longhouses? or 12 ?
Total bread seems like uh..... 2277 or 3036 bread.

You can far more easily create a camp or town though.

But I checked my old login, it's mc.civcraft.vg which is the same.
