"I was this city's top shaman before the damned Otherworlders turned us into a tourist trap. SHAMAN!" He stated, pulling out a huge tomahawk decorated with beads. He points it from the sky, spitting out "PROTECTION FROM SHAPE CHANGERS!" with a huge puff of smoke, his mouth opening so wide his cigarette fell out. He pulls out another, then shouts "Keezheekoni!" His axe sets on fire, which he uses to light the new catnip.

A doctor from a research facility took her from the station and in the confusion she was forgotten. When she woke several months later she discovered that the doctor had augmented her body to save her life and to test a project he had been unable to find willing subjects for. Taking the principles of the lupine he had turned her into a human/feline hybrid. He raised her from then on but she became obsessed with taking revenge on those who had killed her family and in time discovered that the augmentations could be used to accomplish that.
With her new fathers help she discovered her new bodies strengths and weaknesses then one by one hunted down and killed the bombers who had killed her family.
Having spent most of her life training to kill and seen first hand how often people carried out evil deeds and escaped she decided to use her skills to bring the evil people of the world to justice and to track down people like her who could help her in her goal so that her father could augment them as he had her.

Anything I forgot:
---------------
You begin walking on the scorched ground, looking for any signs of anyone who would have any idea where your target was. You don't see anyone, or any hint that a human would have ever been here, even by the time the outpost behind you became a speck in the distance. Keeping up the brisk walking pace for a mind numbing hour and a half, you finally see another human. It wasn't a town, but it was a start. A temporary camp, surrounded by military style trucks with a gear logo and the words "Hephaestus Forge Inc"" decorating their sides. In the middle was the camp, with several campfires and tents set up. A few guards kept watch, and everyone appears to be armed, this is likely a mercenary camp.

Race: Augmented - Sub-Dermal armour - Inbuilt armour, provides protection whilst reducing speed. && Computer aided vision - Allows extra vision modes such as infra red and targeting, but vision can be overloaded for a short time and can glitch.
Appearance: X5 is large and well built, with close shaved brown hair. Most of the area around his eye is occupied by his Visual Augmentation system, and his other eye socket is completely empty.
Bio: Victor Kar was in his early life a member of the IEF - International Elite Forces. This group operated under it's own control, taking on tasks which only the brightest and best could achieve in return for two things, a roof over their heads and a certain amount of freedom from the law. With intergalactic travel, their services became more and more neccessary as crime moved rapidly through juristictions and traditional policing had little effect. And in free space, where the raiders often lay in orbit, there was no law at all.
The man himself was known for his no nonsense approach to his work - he took no prisoners and was known for his tenacity and the fact that he had never once backed down for a challenge. Of course, he only had to fail once in the end. A mission on Earth, seeking a criminal - Derius Kar, his brother - who was making people dissapear without any trace whatsoever. He found the villain there, and a massive battle commenced. All the IEF members lost their lives, Kar included. And as he was shot, he witnessed his killer run through a doorway to nothing, and simply vanish.
Kar awoke in a lab, surrounded by the corpses of his squad. Bodies that lay, cold, blue, and lifeless, outlined in red in his head. But he wasn't. And clearly, he had changed.
It took two more years of training before the cyborg deemed himself ready. The process that had ressurected him had failed on those he considered family, and his true family was responsible. Disgusted, Victor discarded that name, and took the project's codename as his own - X5. Then he set out, searching for Derius, a man who dissapeared through the portal.

The man gives a laugh, with a bit of humor in it this time, as you leave him. "Just my luck. You didn't have any money in the first place...", but he didn't make any move to stop you otherwise. You exit the graveyard without trouble, with the only witnesses to you ever having been here being the man and a single raven sitting on the gate, which flew away as soon as you stepped near.
In the end, it wasn't difficult to find the market. The man was mostly bluffing when he said you couldn't read the signs. While there was unreadable runes on the wooden arrows, below them was a new addition in readable text. "Market" ,"Palace", "North Exit" etc etc. Apparently, this town got enough Otherworldly traffic to justify bilingual signs.
The market was a large place, with each merchant situated in a small stall. Some stalls where larger, with multiple people working in them and some even large enough to warrant their own private guards. Each seemed to focus primarily on a single product, which was often completely different from its neighbor, though sometimes they go together well enough like the salt vender setting up shop next to the meat vender, next to them a stall full of leather shoes. It was rather crowded here and the roads leading here, filled with buyers, sellers, men in scholars robes, and the odd guard patrolling along in the crowd.
