FOR EVERYBODY:
I was looking at the game play, and thinking how I could make it better. One problem I have with it right now is the d6 system I am using. While it does work OK, it is a little too random. Using a 6 sided die means that there can be six outcomes, and you will get the worse result 1/6 of the time. You will get the best result 1/6 of the time. This makes combat kind of awkward on my end. It also makes it more difficult to allot bonuses, after all adding or subtracting a single point is a major difference when you normal have 1-6. As such, I am considering switching over to a percentile system, that is D100. The core mechanics will stay the same, though the general percentages will change. Is everyone Ok if I rewrite the rules to try out the tweak?
I will probably add some new rules and tweak some of the old while I am at it.

You raise your fist and mock the firey orb in the sky, as its radiant, life giving light continues to leave over the mountainside. There is a good chance you angered the sun god, and will get minor burns over your skin next time you go to the beach. Horrified, you realize you are right next to a lake, and thus almost near a beach. But for now, the sun is down, the sun gods can't get you....
You look around for some trees. You don't see any. All there is is a dirt road, a lake, and a field of near-infinite flowers.

Your men fire at the hovercraft, dealing some minor damage to unnecessary structures. The hovercraft retaliates, spraying a futile blast of bullets against your soldier's sturdy armor. The jeeps fire, denting armor but not injuring anybody. The infantry still hides behind cover.

Name: X5
Profession: Vigilante (See Bio)
Race: Augmented - Sub-Dermal armour - Inbuilt armour, provides protection whilst reducing speed. && Computer aided vision - Allows extra vision modes such as infra red and targeting, but vision can be overloaded for a short time and can glitch.
Appearance: X5 is large and well built, with close shaved brown hair. Most of the area around his eye is occupied by his Visual Augmentation system, and his other eye socket is completely empty.
Bio: Victor Kar was in his early life a member of the IEF - International Elite Forces. This group operated under it's own control, taking on tasks which only the brightest and best could achieve in return for two things, a roof over their heads and a certain amount of freedom from the law. With intergalactic travel, their services became more and more neccessary as crime moved rapidly through juristictions and traditional policing had little effect. And in free space, where the raiders often lay in orbit, there was no law at all.
The man himself was known for his no nonsense approach to his work - he took no prisoners and was known for his tenacity and the fact that he had never once backed down for a challenge. Of course, he only had to fail once in the end. A mission on Earth, seeking a criminal - Derius Kar, his brother - who was making people dissapear without any trace whatsoever. He found the villain there, and a massive battle commenced. All the IEF members lost their lives, Kar included. And as he was shot, he witnessed his killer run through a doorway to nothing, and simply vanish.
Kar awoke in a lab, surrounded by the corpses of his squad. Bodies that lay, cold, blue, and lifeless, outlined in red in his head. But he wasn't. And clearly, he had changed.
It took two more years of training before the cyborg deemed himself ready. The process that had ressurected him had failed on those he considered family, and his true family was responsible. Disgusted, Victor discarded that name, and took the project's codename as his own - X5. Then he set out, searching for Derius, a man who dissapeared through the portal.

------------------
You try to look nonthreatening while armed to the teeth and standing next to a giant inferno you had created yourself. Which is more difficult then it sounds, and it sounds difficult. A trio of guards, in chain armor, approach you. The one on either side was flashing a sword, while the one in the middle was standing still. He appeared to be the leader, as he had a small insignia on his armor. "Looks like you caught them, all right. Caught them on fire, that is...." he states, with a sigh. He then looks at you for a minute, as you speak briefly to him, before sighing again. He then shrugs "Whatever, I guess Other-worlders are out of our jurisdiction. I don't care if you fight between yourselves, but you can't be setting giant fires around my town..." he snaps his fingers, and the group of men put their swords away. A small group of men wielding a large bucket between them come on the scene, accompanied by a man wearing scholar's robes. The water begins to move, and starts putting out the fire like a fire hose.
"Who are you looking for, traveler?" The man then asked.
