I wish we could add sharpened edges to shields...
Or you know, use targes... You know, shields with massive spikes?

We'd still need to be able to add attacks to shields. I tried that once. Didn't work.
They have a bash attack  which is misc. item user

Actually just a generic "strike" as in like using a chair or puzzlebox.

I just tested if we could make sharpened shields real quick. I altered the knapping reaction to force an edge on a shield. Or rather, return a shield as the product, with [FORCE_EDGE]. It doesn't seem possible, or at least it didn't apply sharp to the shield's name.

Here's the altered reaction

I think edges can only be forced onto small rocks. Though I'd like to know if someone knows for a fact if it's possible, I did test it rather hastily after all.

Being able to sharpen shields would be amazing.

The whole idea of taking out someones throat with an edged shield sounds awesome...

You can put some screenshots up retroactively, just open up a copy of the save from the end of the year and post some progress pictures up in the last journal entry you wrote Highmax. If you have the time that is. If not then I can some up to give people a more visual idea of how the forts was when you left it.
