See? This is proof of my words. Copper goes a loooooong way up against bitey things.
You do realize beak wolves are easy to kill if you got metal armor covering your body and any sort of fighting skill? I'm waiting for the hilarity of the goblins to pop up soon ;D

Pretty sure I've mentioned that there aren't goblins in the world.

Warolves, Furies, Pandashi (though those are on a seperate continent), Kobolds, Beakwolves, White Tigermen. I think that's it but I can't remember precisely. We may or may not have Minotaurossi. I'm pretty sure that several civ slots got taken up by Beakwolves.

Jotun would've been perfect for splint to have some fun on! I'm pretty sure in bloody age where I did a test where we fought them, I think splint killed like 3 while others got maybe 1?

I thought of another solution to the housing issue, when I did some playtesting of my Norse mod I found a Longhouse style building to be very efficient for housing a large number of humans. Beds along either long wall each designated as a 1 tile room, a row of tables and chairs in front of each line of beds designated as a single dining room and a throne set up at the halls head. I built additional rooms on either side to store things as needed but it worked very well for a simple bed and dining arrangement.
So basically a gigantic dormitory with beds assigned to each person, and only beds?  That's pretty easy to do, but I already mined out the area below and am filling it with paved roads, so maybe someone else can catch up with that.

Aren't those nigh indestructible?
And they throw fireballs!

Here it would probably best be an expansion of the tavern I suppose. Building up and outwards will be needed as part of the process of making it a castle anyway.

Yeah but in large numbers they can tear poorly equipped (as in unarmored) recruits to shreds.

I don't know, haven't looked at a copy of the save in quite a while.

I don't actually believe we do.  And if we do, I'm going to draft them when I get home.  We need more legendary warriors, even though we have like 8 already.  I had started mining out the hematite when I last left off, and I don't remember us necessarily having any flux, so I was going to make a couple of sets of iron stuffs.

Sorry for not updating yesterday, Starbound got the better of me.

Iron is good, I doubt anything in the world will have steel. If it turns out that I'm wrong then we can kill them with enough arrows to darken the sky and steal the steel.

There's also always the candy, deep down in the depths where men dare not dwell.

And there's a bunch of ampersands (&) down there.  I'm probably going to go ahead and just leave the ampersands for someone else to venture.  I think my turn will probably be the foundation of the castle and an army of tin-cans walking around.  That and maybe a couple of Forgotten Beast necklaces or something.

I think I forgot to mention it, but the first thing that happened with the FB fight was the corporal cutting out all of the thing's teeth at the same time.
