Answer: If anyone knows, they aren't telling ;)

((And Powder Miner said after they were a norm. ))

There we go, I accidentally deleted it once and I'm not sure if apps are still open, but at any rate, here is mine. I left a lot of stuff pretty vague, because I wasn't totally sure where the game is taking place, also because it's like two in the morning here.

Looks alright. I'll start working on selections now. Further apps will be waitlisted.

Wow, I'm friends with a vamp. That's unexpected. Though both me and Criptfeind were criminals before, so it makes sense, really.
Dwarmin both is looking for someone, so we have common ground there, and is looking for a way to make donors non edible for vamps. Seems good.

Not surprised I hate Ramuthra. Damn leech!

And Joben... I may have broken into your shop before, but it ain't like that's a reason to hate me now, is it?

Is the mechanic ok?

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what I was thinking as far as burning luck for bonus goes. The burning blood part is probably pointless though, since it acts as such a major advantage, it would probably lower my stats way more then a +1 would be worth. But. That doesn't really matter since the burning of luck is what I was after anyways.

As for relations I was thinking something along the lines of (obviously from the prospective of my character, your own prospects may or may not agree with my characters thoughts on the events and I'm not really sure at all if any of it is appropriate for your back stories.)

Rick Haggard: This guy was just a kid when Arther found himself drifting away from his old thieving circles, but a promising one at that. He was going to be one of the quickest burglars Arther had ever seen, including himself. Arther became quite fond of the young man, and after he moved up and away he still kept in contact. Arther even had given a thought to trying to bring him into the business of death, before he was picked up at a botched job and thrown away to cool his heels for a couple of years. Arther still wrote and received the occasional letter, and now that he had been released Arther had given thought to trying to track him down and reestablish their friendship, maybe even bring him back in.

Humm...tell me if this works for you guys.

Harry's Connections

Rick Haggard: A bridge too far
When Rick came to harry asking for help to find his brother, he was all to pleased to accept-but, the trail had gone long cold. It was difficult to even find a trace of the men-the pair ended up working together, using their unique skills to try and determine what happened. They made a fair partnership-despite their difficulties. A petty criminal and a former law enforcer don't always get along...but, as Harry likes to remind him, he's retired.

Harry's vowed not to stop until he reunites the brothers...but, he has someone of his own to rescue now-something he doesn't think is a coincidence. His missing partner was also looking into the disappearance-and, It seems anybody who gets too close vanishes...

This is one case Harry wants to close the books on before he does too.

Randolph Carter: Concerned Citizen
Harry met Randolph many years ago-the humble knife maker reporting a disturbance in his neighborhood that led to an arrest-a time where most people kept quiet, it was a courageous act. It was a binding moment, but only until after the cataclysm did they truly become friends. Worried the man would become a vigilante with no moral center, he carefully guided and helped him-offering him a release for the anxiety, anger and helplessness boiling inside. Since then, he's considered Randolph both a dependable man to have by his side and a true friend.

Arthur Penn: The One that got away
One of the IOD's rare successes has always stood out in Harry's mind as a good day-they had taken down a mob syndicate, halted the pushing of drugs, and perhaps given some people a chance to catch a breathe before the plunge.

But Arthur Penn, a hired hitman with a fatal resume and a blood addiction somehow slipped through the cracks. Was it luck or something more? Harry's never forgotten the mans face when he was found not guilty-shame and triumph. As far as Harry's concerned, the mans a serial killer...a mad dog...and someone needs to put him down. Unfortunately, fish are fried in order of how large they are.

Sounds good to me, Criptfeind.

Why Rick Haggard likes Arther Penn: A old friend and mentor for Ricks's burgeoning days as a petty thief. When Rick moved away, he pretty much lost contact. Sure, there were the occasional letters, but Rick was never a social animal. He lost contact completely when he was arrested, though he always liked the guy.

Why Rick Haggard likes Harry Jones: Not having a clue where his brother had gone, Rick was dead in the water: no leads, no friends, and expecting to have a vamp rip out his jugular every day. Until he noticed a small advertisement in the Yellow Pages: Harry Jones, private detective - specialising in missing persons. With nothing left to lose, he made the call. They worked together quite a while, despite their moral differences, though it came to nothing. Now Harry's lost someone too, and suggests that they might be connected: If so, Rick do what ever he can to help Harry find his ex-partner.

Why Rick Haggard hates Jimmy "Twitch" Walkman: Rick never dabbled too deeply into the darker parts of the criminal underground, but he did occasionally lend some money - and if someone couldn't pay, well, the police tended to get tips the debtor had some goods that had been recently stolen....
One of these debtors was Jimmy Walkman. He borrowed the max, and didn't pay back. Rick was planning for him to be found with some illegal substances when the police caught up with him instead. By the time he got out of prison, the vamp situation was critical and Walkman was god-knows-where. Still, Rick hasn't forgotten, and he firmly believes in the repaying of debts. With the discovery that Walkman is now a vamp, Rick's dislike has crystallised into disgusted hatred.

Jimmy "Twitch" Walkman: A old friend to Arther, a fellow, shall we say "aficionado" of the finer things in life. Quite a handly fellow to have around, with a wealth of pharmaceutical knowledge and a few contacts in that area. He and Arther have done experiments together in the past, and the blood was just another in the long line of questionable ideas they went into together. Once the actual source of the blood came out they sometimes went hunting together, although Arther was shocked at Jimmy's acceptance of it's source. Who knew the little man had the stomach for drinking the blood of others?

Iliana Tvera: A smart little chit, who Arther has slowly started burning with hate for. Near the start of chaos the Arther heard rumors that a hospital with a motherload, someone in the hospital was doing testing on donor blood and they had somehow amassed a huge freezer full of blood bags of it. It was enough to keep him in constantly fresh blood for months! Arther snuck in and was in the process of trying to find a way to remove his bounty when this girl stumbled upon him. At first he thought it wasn't a big deal, just a neck to snap before he moved on. But the girl was smart, she knew that she couldn't stand up to a vamp in a straight on fight, she lead him away from the freezer. Arther was careless in stalking her, arrogant in his supposed superiority. She trapped him in a reenforced observation room in a rarely used corner of the hospital that she had acquired the keys to but he had no way out. He was trapped for three days before found and let out the girl had moved on and the freezer was unpowered, spoiling all the blood. A few bribes and favors called in got him free of the police long enough to skip town, but not before he managed to get the name of the girl and the interesting fact that she is probably a Donor. Arther has since vowed to track her down and extract every last wasted drop from her before he lets her die.

Harry Jones response: Sounds good Dwarmin.
