See that yellow and black-striped hatch? Investigate/Open it. It may contain useful items, be the entrance to a crawlspace, (Despite the window showing space right above it, I suspect the hull is thick enough that that isn't a hatch to the great outdoors...) or be something like a plug cover for an industrial-grade electrical outlet that we will need to use for later puzzle shenanigans.

You head right, and after passing an airlock bulkhead come to a section of station that looks decidedly unsafe.

You beat a hasty retreat, just in case, and on the way back examine that stripy thing. a label on the side says "DANGER BETA RADIATION SOURCE INSIDE". You leave it alone.
