Tip: If you end a turn on an air space you will drop one z-level.
Tip: Heavies are better at close range. Try to get as close to your target as possible.
Tip: When you pick up ammo it goes to your reserve ammo for the weapon you are carrying. Sniper Rifles do not follow this rule and instead get ammo to their current clip.


Well… I feel like a dick cause of how TMC died right there…

Oddly enough it seems WeirdSound is wanting to “Idle” for now. I’ll leave it up to his team to make calls for him until he gets back.

Tip: Moving in spawn does not take Movement. Use this to approach your preferred exit.
Tip: If a dead Engineer switches classes his buildings disappear.
Tip: If a weapon has 0/0 reserve ammo, any ammo picked up goes directly into the clip.


Damn man, it took FOREVER for the Sniper to hit anything. Poor Scapheap though. That Teleporter would have been useful.

Note to Nerjin: On the map, my soldier is in I7, while in the turn list (and in my very sneaky PM) I'm moving to I6.

Given that I was supposed to move to I6, and applying the bottom-right to top-left corner rule for lines of fire, I can't see why I wasn't able to take the shot at GSF in L13. Is it that you consider actions that say "shoot X if and only if I have a clear line of fire" invalid?

I do not consider it invalid. I just made a mistake. You will move north one space and fire at GSF as a free action before anyone else does anything. You still have an action for that turn that will follow normal initiative rolls.

Thanks! I wasn't trying to hector you over that move. Mistakes happen and this game is still in beta, after all. I pointed it out because I thought it would be good to clear up the ambiguity before people began submitting actions. And also because I'm curious about which kinds of conditional actions you want to allow/disallow. For example, allowing actions like "shoot whomever I have the greatest chance of killing" might be making things too easy for the player.

Anyway, move to J8 and shoot Greenstarfanatic.
