Are you seriously suggesting endemic cleansing of ebolabat? You disgust me.
Nah, I'm just sayin' that if we were actually oppressing the ebolabat, we'd oppress it into extinction without even trying. Poor bastards wish they were as sturdy as the dodo, and look how much that helped them.

And nah, ebolabatman would get eaten by hungry africans. And then I guess thrown into a lazarus pit and brought back to get eaten again. Ra's al Ghul's secret biological weapon in his war of racial cleansing.

Why are you bringing up dodos when we're trying to talk about the plight of ebolabat? Are you an avian supremacist?

As a note, they completely fudged the quarantine in Texas. They sent the guy home with Antibiotics, had an utter failure of communication with the hospital staff, used an ambulance to carry they guy and didn't decommission it until 48 hours afterwards with absolutely no protection for the staff. Four sherrifs wandered through the apartment the guy was in without protection, they never sanitized the apartment, they quarantined several people In the apartment without sterilizing it first, they failed to bleach infected puke on the driveway until days after it was spewed, and the infected person was allowed to come in close contact with Children!

Damn. I was watching the stuff about the Dallas quarantine on CNN(they have it on in the cafetera, fuck me if I know why), and for a second there, I thought they were doing a not-retarded job of it. I mean the quarantine, not CNN. CNN never does a not-retarded job of it.

The word is secession. Succession means someone dying and- oh, right. :-\

This is not good.

I suddenly don't want to move South.  I want to move as North as possible.  Anyone know how hard it is to live in the frozen wastes of Canada?

If the end of the world comes about as a result of Ebola, I will cry if the people who died from it don't get back up.

I agree. Something like ebola wiping out humankind might just be irritating enough for God to savescum.
