Day 1 - Afternoon

(I improved the animals a little. The birds now have different colors, the tiny nutrients have different pictures for different statuses, the snakes have a second style)

Teloh is still organizing the storage. He has listed some of the things already. He will be finished this evening.

Elaka had no success yet, but she won't give up yet.

Itrika has a plan to rearrange the capsule, but needs some strong hands for this.
Instead, he tries to help Eleka for now, since he has far more technical knowledge and may be able to increase the efficiency of the communicator.

Atio and Aktrop examined one of the trees and its leaves and fruits. They are still not sure if anything of it is edible,
but they noticed a strange reddish thing on the tree. It seems to be some bug hive.
They leave it for now and head to the water, checking if it's drinkable for Gordaxias.

The rodents the security team found seem to be alerted, but not retreating.
They are probably no danger, but the two head back to the capsule anyway, not wanting to risk anything without some good old weapons in their hands.
The rodents seem to relax as the securities fall back. They start to spread between the trees again, nibbling on the roots.

Have Itrika take a look at the technology the sleeper pods use. They may be worth more to us as building materials.

Give the security guys weapons appropriate for their skills then have them go and check out the snakes.

(I added pillows to the sleeping pods. Just pretend that they were there before :P )

Teloh finished organizing the storage.

Elaka and Itrika couldn't find contact to another landing capsule. Maybe their systems are broken?

Itrika starts to examine the sleeping pods, trying to find new possible uses for their parts.

Atio and Aktrop are still testing the water. It seems it is drinkable, but they are not absolutely sure yet.

Bledi and Tarila took some weapons from the storage. A pistol and a knife, since they don't expect any real danger here.
They head out to check the snake-like animals.

Finish your tasks, and eat. Bunk down for the night. In the morning, send the military guys - armed with decent weapons - to quickly scout the 8 squares about us, so we at least have an idea of what's around us. If it'll take more than a day have them do what they can and come back. We should know the terrain about us, and it's possible another pod has come down nearby and we haven't even heard them. How many pods are there, anyway? I've either missed it or forgot... either way.

Three pods. One pod has the capacity for seven people. There were 25 on the ship, but four didnt't wake up after the shock. They manned three pods (7x3).

Damn. Smart Gardenias would have loaded the empty ones with supplies and fired them down to find later. We don't have enough population for a stable colony without cloning. Back to biotechnology it is.

Biotechnology is an option. As are robots. And maybe magic... who knows? ;)

Day 1 - Night

Directlink (3300x3300px)
Spoiler: Area 0,6 (click to show/hide)

As the day fades out, your crew heads back to the capsule.
The snake-like things seem to live in the sea, so Bledi and Tarila also head back.

To not miss a possibly incoming transmission from one of the other capsules, Elaka and Itrika leave the communicator activated for the night.

The door closes, locking out the night, and a weak light starts to illuminate the interior of the landing capsule.

Your crew consumes 1kg space zwieback, 0,4kg power paste and 5l drinkable water.

It is their first night on this planet, and it brings unfamiliar sounds.
Gurgling-like sounds from the north, a dark growl followed by a high and loud shriek in the west, and who knows what else.
At one moment, they hear a loud and deep growl near the ship, but it seems whatever it was lost interest quickly.

Eventually, everyone falls into sleep. Some hours they don't need to think about this strange and foreign world and that they probably will never see their homes and families again.

(I decided to not insert the new turns into the first post any more. Instead you will only find the links to the knowledge/structures/citizens posts and the turn overview there.

Standing orders: every group of people at least one weapon. If they're out at night, all of them are armed.
If we come across one of the monsters during the day, even if it's sleeping, it's best to have some kind of defence.

Day 2 - Morning

Directlink (3300x3300px)
Spoiler: Area 0,6 (click to show/hide)

The night ends, and the world awakes in a pleasantly red light.

Your crew consumes 0,3kg space zwieback, 0,1kg power paste and 2l drinkable water at a small breakfast.

Aktrop and Atio head out to continue analysing the plants and their fruits, and everything else they see that could be edible.

Bledi and Tarila take some food and water and head out to explore the surrounding areas, starting in the south.
They are interrupted by a strange animal, poking around in one of the rodent dens.
It is not big, but it has very sharp blade-like feet and 2 tentacles with similar blades.

Eleka keeps working on the communicator and also, after some improvements from Itrika, tries to run a scan on the surrounding areas.

Itrika and Teloh begin to rearrange the sleeping pods.
<Genius>They plan to remove the electronic, especially the gas system, to maybe make some weapon from it.
They also want to use some of the cloth to make them more comfortable.
</Genius>

I updated the citizens post. I created a skill system to bring a bit of randomness into the game. It's described in the spoiler at the head of the citizens post.

EDIT: Well, not exactly randomness, but it's a system I can use to determine the intensity of effects and events.
It also gives the players a way to calculate the risk for different actions, since they see what the citizens are good at and how much influence this has on things.
