Sidereal heads closer to check out the mutant. (6) She approaches it from the side, and sees that it's a humanoid covered in crystals. She gets right up to the mutant, and then it spots her and attacks. (6 vs. 1-1) Sidereal is sent flying by the blow, the attack leaves jagged cuts from the crystals along her body, and she's very woozy. (5) Before passing out, she sends a call for help to other superheroes she knows of.

((Whoops. Ah well, the observatory has wi-fi right?))

(2) Colin is about to set up the workshop when he receives Sidereal's call. He drops everything and heads off to help out. (2) Unfortunately, he gets stuck in a traffic jam.

Well, that failed miserably, go find the other-

Follow the orders of the phone caller, they seem smart.

(6) Jaeger Vaulk gets the call, Sidereal having their number because they had dated for a while. He instantly heads off to help. (3) Jaeger Vaulk makes it most of the way, before coming across a mugging in an alleyway.

Well, that clears that up. Go on and find a secluded spot. Find out what 'creating magic from thin air' means.

Novus heads to a quiet spot to practice magic. (1)  He spots an alleyway, nothing can go wrong if you head into an alleyway right? Something cold and metallic is pressed to his temple, and Novus hears someone say "Give me you wallet, now!"

(2) Joseph fails to figure out what's going on, and so just follows Colin and gets stuck in the same traffic jam. (5) Colin resists the urge to slap Joseph's face and learns a new skill!

((Firstly, they might not appear for whatever reason, including, but not limited to cruel fate, cruel GM, cruel dice and just plain bad luck.

Secondly, I have a gun to my head, I presume. This is quite distressing and I would prefer for it to stop. After all, I can only copy skills and make extremely vague magic (and transmogrify snakes) - I have no powers that protect against a bullet to the head.

Thirdly, I do not know of any clones running about IC. This is possibly a good thing.

Fourthly, if things do turn out in your favor, I can reclaim the wallet.))

Recognize the victim as Novus, duplicate myself about 3 times and sick my clones on the mugger, then have the real me keep going.

Jaeger Vaulk sends three duplicates at the mugger, (3 vs. 6) but the mugger turns around, ready for a fight. (5 vs. 4) The mugger fires his gun at one of the duplicates, grazing his shoulder, before the other two attack. (4 vs. 1) One Duplicate kicks the duplicate in the chest, knocking him back, before the second (6 vs. 1) delivers an uppercut to the chin, sending the mugger into a wall. (1) As soon as the mugger is under the walls shadow, he starts to dissolve until nothing is left of him.

(4) Meanwhile, Jaeger Vaulk arrives on the scene of where the crystal mutant is.

"Eh, you got me, I suppose. Perhaps you'd settle for cash? I like my wallet."

(Note, that mugger had actual superpowers, it's just he never had a chance to use them.)

(1) Sidereal continues to be knocked out and bleeding on the cement. (1,5) Thankfully the crystal mutant ignores her, thinking her dead, and a helpful passerby runs up with a med-kit to traet Sidereal's wounds.
