Alright, so I've got this phone in June (I believe) as a present due to my middle school graduation.
I know that one should not complain about gifts, but...

The OS - Windows Phone.
The one system NOBODY FUCKING CARES ABOUT nowadays, and as such, the Marketplace is a dead wasteland with no decent apps. The only Steam app doesn't even have a chat function!
I can't watch anything on Twitch either, and the only half-promising app is a paid one.

Want to make a music playlist? Nope.
It's either too hard for me to get or just straight up impossible.
Speaking of the music itself, the quality is worse than on my old Nokia E66 and recently the player skips a random second in the song I'm listening to if I put that song to repeat itself. (only when it actually repeats, though. The first time it's fine, but jacks up on subsequent loops).

And don't get me started on a million smaller pet peeves I've had with this so far.
Just. Don't.

11 times out of 10 I would want to CHOOSE MY BLLODY PHONE instead of relying on mum+sis RNG.
Sure, I can waste my life on Bay12 on the go (ie. right now), but any other modern phone would let me do that plus a crapton more.

One of my classmates told me that I could install Android on it, but he's also the Facebook-LoL-Tibia nolife, as with almost all my classmates.
(Tibia being a terribad Pay2Win MMORPG full of 10 year olds)

So I wouldn't value his words too highly.

Looks like I'm stuck with q chickenshit phone whose only purpose was better accomplished with a much older phone w/o touch screen.

Gifts are cool, but if they are a hassle then what are they good for?

It's entirely possible that android could run on it, and no-one's bothered to make something for this particular phone yet. I'm not too familiar with android, so I can't say if this phone could ever run android, and if so how to make it run yourself.

Absolute worst case scenario, you could always sell it and make some money.

I have a phone that was only officially sold with "windows mobile" and unofficial Android build on it works fine. But some googling tells me that "windows phone" OS devices like lumia 520 have no Android options even remotely working now.
