When Cromwell arrives, Dorothea is waiting and ready to interview him. The interview proceeds smoothly, Cromwell performing a few magic tricks and discussing his reasons for fighting crime. He then mentions that he doesn't have superpowers, causing Dorothea to smile. "Don't worry, we can fix that!" Dorothea speaks into a headset, requesting that someone bring the Abracadabra serum. A technician appears holding an injector, swabs Cromwell's arm and then injects the substance into his arm. Cromwell cries out, and suddenly there are two copies of Cromwell. He stares in shock, before the other Cromwell disappears. Dorothea starts talking "This serum gives you the ability to make duplicates of yourself. However, your duplicates will fade if you lose consciousness or fall asleep. You look like an excellent candidate for the team, and we'll notify you on whether you will be able to join the team. If you fail to qualify as a starting member, we promise you will be put on a waitlist until a replacement is needed."
Superpower: Jaeger Vaulk is able to make duplicates of himself, but this power fades when he is knocked unconscious.

Secret Identity: Vyacheslav Antonovich Yozhevy

Job: Produce Quality Evaluation and Restocking Specialist, Grocery Store
Criminal Record: None as far as he knows. The Russian government might just have it in for him, though.
Background History: a Russian native, Vyacheslav fled his homeland three years ago, completely convinced that the President of Russia was in the middle of enacting some dark plan that would, as part of its design, result in Vyacheslav's death or imprisonment. Motivated by fear, which may or may not be entirely founded, he smuggled himself to America, where he has for the past two and a half years been busy naturalizing, getting to know the people, the language. He's even managed to get his hands on a green card, a process that had been eating up quite a lot of his time, money and will to live. He wishes to join the AS to secure his place in America and to be protected from the predations of his home country, and to also do something useful with the powers that he believes are the key to his predicament, whatever that may be.
Other: mildly paranoid, but also quite ethical and moral. Rather likes living in America and would prefer to keep doing so indefinitely.

When Novus shows up the next day, he's met by a woman named Irina. After going paranoid about her being a Russian agent to send him home, he manages to control himself and goes in to be interviewed. The interview goes well, until Irina finds out he's an immigrant with no powers, then she summons the tech team to give him some powers. When the tech team is done messing with him, Novus has the power to copy the skills of his attackers. Additionally, he is able to create magic out of thin air and he wades into combat using a terrible gun that can force foes to freeze in place, however only while performing a series of gestures. Novus can transform any snake into a creature. Tragically, Novus is deathly afraid of fish.

Background history: Jenny has been studious her entire life, but recently she has felt like she needed a break. around this time her powers manifested, and she wants to become a hero, because it is being useful, but in a completely different way than her research.
Other: Has a Masters degree in Astronomy, Working on a PhD
Jenny's application goes straight through, and she gets a response scheduling an appointment at 1 PM the next day. Her interviewer is a guy named Chris. Chris quickly gets to know jenny, and eventually they get on the subject of powers.
Too overpowered
Sidereal possesses all of the powers and talents of a wolf, but only in darkness. She developed the talent to block lasers and deflect them in a field around herself and she is able to sculpt and mold all wood with a thought. Sidereal has been known to rocket up walls and she possesses the power to spin like a whirlwind. Also, she has mastered the ability to confuse the emotions of an adversary and she can change shape into a cockroach. Terribly, Sidereal is handicapped by being weak.
Jenny's powers were varied. She could edit people's memories and transform her body into rock. She can control sheep, who view her as their lord, and she can break through string. However, she is very vulnerable to attacks with crystals.
Power:Sidereal possesses the power to edit the memories of others. Also, she has been known to walk through the air using an awe-inspiring horse and she can transform her body into rock. Sidereal lords over a series of sheep and she has learned to tunnel through solid string. Unfortunately, Sidereal is especially vulnerable to crystal-based attacks.

Job: Low level Intern at Korupp, Comsyne & Smothers company, office division
Criminal Record: Ticketed for speeding. Many times. No court appearances!
Background history: The KCS chemical division is responsible for almost 15% of all superhero/supervillian manifestations, and Erins was no different. An explosion at a lab she was promoting saturated her in strange, mutant powers...her company has since then kept her identity a secret, while using 'Solaris' as an advertising tool to sell their wide range of products-such as toys, books and movies. Erin's always looking for the camera.
Other: She's quite bouncy, physically...and in personality. They couldn't have picked a more telegenic or alluring superheroine to represent their company if they had perhaps triggered the laboratory explosion purposely. Really, it was very lucky.
Erin's application passes, resulting in her getting a 2 Pm appointment for an interview. Her interviewer is a 30 year-old man named Chris. The interview soon gets into discussions over whther the accident that caused her powers was legal, on-purpose, and if she needs the corporation's permission to be on the team. Then the discussion gets to Erin's powers. Erin's powers are strange. Erin can make lions appear from nowhere, however never during a full moon. She likewise developed the talent to absorb the damage from electricity(changed from energy)-based attacks and use it to amplify her talent at repairing stuff and she is able to run to far away planets, but only when angry. Erin can become incorporeal, but using this power makes her immovable for five minutes. Additionally, she has the power to transform any dinosaur into magic, but never in extreme magnetism. Erin possesses the power to block powerful magnetic fields and deflect them toward a single adversary. Terribly, Erin struggles with being unable to smell, the one negative side-effect of the laboratory accident.

EEEEEEVVVVVVVVILLLLLLL. I PUT A STOP TO THAT THERE RIGHT AWAY. THEN I GONE GOT PUT IN A HOME BY THEM BLASTED GRANDKIDS! UNGRATEFUL LITTLE SODS! Joseph gets an appointment scheduled for 2 PM. He shows up at 2:17, apologizing and blaming his terrible skill at finding places, a side effect of his powers. He explains his powers very loudly to Dorothea, who takes notes on a clipboard. Joseph Bartley has the power to become incredibly massive. Additionally, he developed the talent to make duplicates of himself. Unfortunately, Joseph Bartley is infamous for being woefully unskilled at searching.

Secret Identity: Samuel K Jackson
Age: 33
Job: Convenience Store owner/clerk
Criminal Record: Three parking tickets, all paid.
Background history: Grew up in a fairly poor part of Los Angeles. Father owned the convenience store, passed away from heart troubles and left Samuel in charge. Mother died in a mugging gone wrong. Store has been held up any number of times. No more! He will make his little part of the world safer or die trying.
Other: Samuel is a vegan thanks to being allergic to animal protein. He bitterly wishes that this wasn't so.
Samuel's application gets through without a hitch. He shows up at 2 Pm and meets with Irina. Irina interviews Samuel, and learns he has good fighting and hiding skills from growing up in LA. She then calls in a technician to administer Serum THW1-A to him. It's only after administration that they discover that they accidentally gave him THW1-B to him. Samuel can now transform any monkey into physical matter.
Powers: Moonwalker has been known to transform any monkey into physical matter. Also, good fighting/stealth skills
