Sorry dude, been ill for a few days and totally missed the update. Will post as soon as I can.

edit:
So, if our ritual is at 10, then the related power is useable?

Yep, it's usable. Ritual measures how many times you can use it.

Remember, ritual's quite freeflowing. I should define ritual use a bit more: with rituals, you can use fireballs and get super-strength, but each use takes one off your ritual meter, meaning you have to recharge it after a while.

So I believe we have almost three people for the mission, yesh?

I'd wanna do a ritual now that I think we have enough, but don't want to hold up the turn any longer...

I figure it'd be nice to 'buff' up Lawas/Ben. Maybe give him better offense or defense. I can be much more specific than that, I just need to know where to start...

Also, suppose I'm a bit confused. Are my ritual powers something I can do on the fly as long as I have the power, or do I have to prepare them beforehand?

You can do them on the fly.

How are you guys doing with your posts?
Sorry!!

Also Fniff, you're open and flexible right? It's possible to rise through the ranks of work without doing any crimes right? :P

I'd be cool with it. However, it's most likely going to be hard as hell, take a long while to actually get a promotion, and it would pay more/be easier to commit crime. Honest work doesn't pay when the debts are mounting, and dishonest work is easier and pays higher.

So we're hypocrites in that we use corruption to defeat itself! D:

Also I'm making up an excuse for the lousy $20 ending pay per week :I despite my career!

Alright, so my team needs to get in here and discuss our mission...

Derya Nithra, Hacker
Ben Miko, Thug
Jakob Haynes, Driver
Kathryn Fry, Driver

Obviously, Derya will provide command and control using the cameras-and help the hack attempt.

Now, I'm going to suggest Jakob and myself are essentially mobile patrol. We'll spot and intercept the hostile contact.

That leaves Ben as our main firepower.

Lawas, I figure you can choose to ride with either of us-my bike is faster but Jakob's car is more well armored. However, Kat doesn't really have much offense on her own, while Jakob seems to be able to turn into Ganon...

Er wait, I'm a bit disorientated this morning.

It might then be a better idea just to go in the car? Otherwise that would leave you vulnerable on the bike. BUT the bike would mean two options for fleeing after. The car could also be used better than the bike at running criminals down and reversing over them.

I can't entirely remember what we are doing without looking - you are proposing that I protect the physical location of the files? I think the best think would be me to do a mobile defence in the building, shooting them in the face at close range.

Does the enemy want to access or just destroy the files?

Will there be anyone else inside with me? Not to shoot criminals in the face, but just to watch my back at least?

If Derya spots where they all come from then I can ambush each individual as they move in (possibly hiding in the ceiling!), but if there's more than a couple I'll have problems with just a shotgun.

I don't have a gun though, and neither does anyone else. And I can't afford one-saturday night special probably cost more than $10. :P I can use a melee weapon, however.

I could ride in the backseat but what purpose would I exactly serve? Swing my bat at them as we drive past?

Also, we all need to protect the files. It's the job.

And it's implied the DQ's are stupid and actually want to destroy the files rather than recovering the, I believe.

Quote
We have a data consultant who is removing the files from our network. However, an extremist neo-anarchist group named the "Drama Queens" is attempting to extract a misguided attempt at vengeance for a set of extremely unlucky circumstances. Thus, we are hiring you as security consultants to secure our property from these criminals. You will be paid for your efforts. As these are criminals, feel free to use lethal force against them.

Honestly, I'd rather we hit them before they enter the building.

Again, now I'm confused because I don't know the extent of my powers. Can I cast bolt of asphalt on people at this level? If so, I can probably handle myself quite well...tho by my sheet I said my powers were 'mostly instinctive' because I didn't know how powerful we started then either.
