Name: Mayo Kingsley
(Auto)Biography: Do you know how hard it is for a Physicist to get funding? Too damn hard, that's how much. Especially when the world seems out to get you. I mean, come on - I lost my wife to cancer and my research grant in the same week. And do you have any idea how hard it is to raise rent and raise a daughter at the same goddamn time?
Then I got to thinking. You know how basically everyhting's conserved? Mass and energy? Momentum? Why not luck? And if it was, then the world owed me a whole goddamn lot.
So I was lying there, desperate, when this plan comes to me. I'm not saying it was a good plan, but hell, it was a good plan. I've always been good with computers. And you know what's my favourite part about them? They make sense. At least more sense than a grants council. All it takes is a one here, a nought there, and suddenly that door slides open, the till pops out, and by the time the cops hear about it the traffic lights have jammed the roads up thicker than a neutron star. A nice sack of cash, and if you're careful how you use it, no one ever knows.
And for everything that goes wrong, something goers right. Maybe my wife's watching over me. Maybe I'm just damn flukey. But it works, and I sure ain't complaining.
Description: Mayo is the kind of man who blends into the background. Put him in a janitor's uniform and he may as well be invisible. He is half cast, standing avergae height, with an average build and average looks. Just average really.
Class: Hacker (Short distance)
Power(Ritual) - Game: Every time mayo loses a luck point he gains a point of Pain. He can expend this Pain to use 'Game' abilities.
For 3 Pain he can either get an automatic success on a single roll, or attempt an roll that would otherwise be impossible (eg. walking through a wall.)
For 9 (cost+3) Pain he can use both simultaneously.
Job: Physicist
Burden(Relations): A teenage daughter. Age 15.

But there's laughter and oh there is love, just past the edge of our fears.
And there's chaos when push comes to shove, but it's music to my ears.

Posting an app soon...

Name: Jakob Haynes
Biography: The guy is about five foot nine, with dark, combed hair, hazel eyes, and a muffler or bandana perpetually covering his lower head. His nose is broken, and a chunk is missing of his ear. Haynes has always been about life in the fast lane. He has been a successful getaway driver on a number of occasions, and is kinda shaky and nervous that the police are 'gonna be after me any day, now!'.
Three months ago, he was driving for the biggest job yet - a four-man stealth heist of a major bank. They got in undetected, got a grand total of 9 million in large bills and gold bar, but tripped the building alarm by accident on the way out. Jakob managed to get them out of the area just in time to avoid the police cars' investigation, but the effort was for nought - one of their contacts filched a few duffel bags of money and went for the police. Luckily, he hadn't given his name, so when the police raid hit the gang hideout, his comrades in crime couldn't give him away. Somehow, he caused a diversionslipped away from the raid without being spotted, and down the road before the police realised they were one perp short. He's been tracking the guy who ratted them out and got his coworkers life sentences across four cities now, eking a living as a taxi driver, trying to work out how sometimes he just does the strange things that got him his freedom.
Class: Driver
Power/Feat: Spell.
Job:Taxi driver
Needs: To get revenge: on the rat who turned the gang in, then skipped town with 2.1 million from the big job.

Cool. Remember, you'll be able to do other things as well with the ritual set-up, but it's otherwise good.

Well, there are still people who haven't written their sheets, and I have to decide which are the best.

If you mean me, feel free to start without. I just want to eventually get in.

Nope, there is still plenty of people in reserve. Anyway, as I said, this isn't first come first serve.

Seven people, though I could go with 8 or 6.

Seven seems magically appropriate.

As does 8, if you're a fan of discworld.

True enough. Eight also happens to be my favorite number.
