((Raptor Red was awesome. It's why I like this game so much))
Action: Yipes! Climb a tree and try to hide-prepare to spring down on a target that presents itself like some sort of prehistoric raptor assassin
You find a sizable tree nearby. Up you go!
((Not in combat under stress, so I'm not making you roll for it.))
Jumping on top of the dead teno Unholy stands to his full height prominently displaying
he scars the acrocanthosaurus had given him.
"The bigtooth bit me but it was we who devoured him before the day ended, your jaws will fare no better than his.
Leave now, this is your final warning."
manipulate creature into leaving, if it fails defend if attacked or attack if a party member is attacked.
"Come fight me then little hunter. Perhaps you will give me a scar to remember you by..."(Intimidate 2+1 vs 4+2, Failure)
Stand my ground, for now. Attack if they charge and get in range. Otherwise, try to intimidate them away.
((Appearances, people.))
She starts walking toward you but hesitates. Her body language shifts from obvious bravado to cautious.
(Intimidate 4+1 vs 1+2)
"You don't even care about the meat. Why are you really here?"
Question their actions. Determine motives.
You are persuasive. (Cunning 6+2)
"You are clever. But don't you know how this place works? Either one side walks out alive or neither does."''... You seem... awfully well fed to need to steal our kill...''
After saying that to aid Mastah's questioning, try to sense the second raptor to precise location and if it is male.
(I have a theory... it might be wrong, but all the same.)
"I did not get fat and strong by only eating when I had urgent need."(Sense 2+1, marginal failure.) You can't tell much more. It's male though.
Move toward her
(The thing is, I missed the new turn and when I got the PM, I looked again and missed the new turn again and got confused. I found it this time.)
You walk towards the big female. That's when everything goes horribly wrong.
(See below after the break)
Hesitate
There are six of them, is this a great idea? That GreatWrymGold seems pretty confident.
Follow Orders. Stick to the plan.
You remain hidden the Stealth 6+2 you rolled on the previous turn still in effect since you haven't moved.
One of the Hunters approaches! Orders triggered!

One of the Hunters approaches! Orders triggered!
A third Utahraptor bursts from hiding on the left flank! Scapheap is completely unprepared for this new threat.
From the right the rather poorly hidden male mirrors the action. They converge directly scapheap leaping wildly on him with shocking speed in a flanking attack. The female kicks driving her 9 inch kill-claw straight into scapheaps chest. A split second later the male's jaws close around his neck. Scapheap is grievously wounded, but clinging to life, at least momentarily.
(Sister's Wild Leap Attack 10+6 vs 4-1, dmg 52)
(Mate's Wild Leap Attack 7+3 vs 1-1, dmg 40, applying Hold)
Red continues her conversation with Unholy_Pariah, her confidence restored
"...Or perhaps you will never lay a claw on my skin."*cough* Assuming I did the math right this fight is more balanced than this first turn makes it look. Also they have less Vigor than anything you've faced so far.
This turn was a bit complicated to write. Let me know if anything isn't clear.
The ambushers had conditional actions prepared several turns ago to leap on the first Hunter to approach Red.
(Before scap posted that he was going to walk forward. In an alternate iteration of the multi-verse this turn worked out differently. None of you came forward, so they rolled stealth, snuck closer and hit Unholy Pariah killing him. Red's closing line was cooler in that context since she was talking to a dead Hunter who had just bragged to her.)
The first one got a +3 for Ambush. They get a natural +1, and each spent 7 extra vigor for +2 combat bonuses. The enemy you didn't spot rolled 6's for her stealth checks 2 or 3 times in a row, scouts honor.
I'm not going to list everyone's proximity to every other actor. That would make my head explode and by absolutely incomprehensible in text only form without a map and miniatures. If there ends up being more than one group of fighters you'll be able to pick which one you want to be in, and it will take two move actions to switch and run over to a different one.
I wasn't quite sure what to do with GWG and Unholy's conditional actions. It sorta got into really fine details of exactly what order we picture these events happening in. I eventually decided that the intimidate stuff took precedence because they would be doing it while scap was walking forward, before the ambush on him triggered. So that was their actions for the turn, because the attack didn't start till they were done talking/displaying.
Combat initiative starts next turn, PC's in post order. NPC's in the middle.
