Hmm, a diary, a journal?  Elena is curious, she makes a mental note of it's positioning on the ground and picks it up.  A small peek into the girl's thoughts couldn't hurt Elena's ability to understand Selina's issues.  Elena makes another mental note to look up occasionally and monitor Selina's sleeping.  She opens to the bookmark.

-Day 50 (Hope?)

I killed again. The fifth time that i've killed. It all happened so fast, and she made me watch. But I managed to stop, and now i'm joining the wards. They might be able to help me, maybe they can save me... My only friend right now is Elena, but its so nice to have a friend again! After so long... and no one hurts me here, I can stop being so afraid of being raped or killed or captured again! But what if I kill again? What if I kill Elena!? ...If that happens, If I kill anyone again... I'm killing myself... I don't deserve to live if I kill again, especially Elena... I'm attracted to her too, but aren't I supposed to like boys? I'm a girl but... Elena looks so attractive! ...Shes also the first person since the hospital to see my scars... all of them... hundreds of them... Will I ever be able to live a happy life again? I don't deserve one, but If I'm given one... I'll never fight again, never... Maybe life would be good again now... maybe... hopefully...

Nothing too surprising, the mention of suicide was interesting.  If she got to speak with the other personality again, she would ask her about that.

Emotions don't work that way.

Not even mentioning that you're apparently a suddenly popped balloon away from having a fear aneurism at any given moment. Why is that a thing? How is that a good idea? The only possible way I can think of any reasonable story centered around or including you to go is along the lines of Yume Nikki minus the dream world.

((Um... thats Selina's emotions, not my own. Shes incredibly unstable so she jumps around a lot, with literally no control over them. The numbers are there to indicate which emotions are most prominent at the moment. How is it annoying exactly? And yes, what Gold said.))

Also if you're so unstable you should have been sent to that parahuman mental hospital, along with whoever does that 'bwa ha ha my evil side will now stab everyone within reach' thing. And that guy who keeps attempting to unsuccessfully escape.

Half the people in this RP logically should not be part of this RP if we're playing a set of PRT heroes, is what I'm getting at. you can't advertise a girl who curls up in the corner. Or a on the fly psychopath. (Reminder: PRT uses heroes like mascots and sells toys and stuff of them.)

((I definitely appreciate it, but since derm is pointing it out, I will admit that it isn't necessary.  My power is essentially to abuse normally OOC knowledge.))

Elena closes the book and sets it as close to it's original position as possible picking up the Pictures folder leafing through it.  They were impressive, especially the one of her in costume.  She flips through them, taking time to look at the details.
