Elena slipped her mask back on nodded towards Slither on the way out and, with Selina, headed down the hall towards the main offices.  After a few moments of asking around she finds the correct office and enters to get the paperwork.

After a few minutes of searching, they manage to find the right office and get the paperwork.

((Probably the last update before I sleep.))

Selina looks at the stack of papers a little worriedly, not sure where she was supposed to sign and everything.

Elena and Selina take the papers back to the Ward's HQ and begin working on them.  Elena had expected Selina's apprehension regarding the paperwork, but it was a bit stronger than usual. "Don't worry, a great deal of it is reading and most of it will be filled out by Slither and whoever the Psychologist is today."

Selina nods, and tries to get through it best she can with Elena. When they finish, Selina sighs in relief.

"Th-that w-w-wasn't too bad..." Selina smiles slightly, the first Elena has seen that seems completely natural.

Emotions: Happy 2/10 Nervous 3/10 Calm 2/10 Affection 3/10 Relieved 1/10

"See it wasn't that bad," Elena was surprised at how quickly Selina had gotten through the paperwork, " and you're now one step closer to being a Ward."  Without the slasher smile or her base fidgety neutral expression, Elena found that Selina looked almost normal.  She couldn't help but break into a grin herself, she was helping.

((Well that probably took a couple of hours.  I'm expecting, especially if Selina stuttered as much as she normally does, that it's about 10:00am.  Do you think we should see if the others do anything else before we continue?))

((Agreed, Gold may sit us with his impending endbringer doom at 10:02 or something. Either way we're probably done for the next 8 hours atleast.))

Selina gave another small smile, feeling she finally had a friend.

Tabitha polishes the design of her machine, making sure that it would actually work.

Hm. It'll take just a little longer, but if no one interrupts she should be able to finish the design before the 11 o'clock meeting.


With Delphinium's help, Selina manages to fill out the paperwork and go through the introductory materials. They still have about an hour before the meeting about the Bones.


Kevin at some point is examined.

The doctor lets him go if he wants, but advises him to take it easy either way.


Matthew presumably goes about his daily routine.


Steven Jerle does not decide to try and contact anyone or do anything like that.

((Well no, I suppose not, but I'm assuming, since he is a solo hero with protectorate support, he does have some reason to be informed about the meeting.))

I'm going to say the protectorate stay in contact with him but he's more or less on his own and under the radar because the trail is cold.
