Firstly, yay I finished the heroes. Well, I'm thinking of adding one or two more capes to the Lilies, but they don't really count, now do they?
Secondly: Anyone else read the newest chapter of Worm? I did a few hours ago, and...well. Holy, holy carp.
This is a dump of information for if anyone decides they want the climax of Worm spoiled but hasn't caught up.
Scion is an extraterrestrial entity which granted everyone their powers. He had a partner which was also such an entity, but which was killed by Cauldron and used to make their formulae.
Scion went on a rampage a few arcs ago, due largely to Jack Slash. During the latter part of his rampage, he discovered the corpse of his partner while going through Cauldron's base.
This did not make him happy.
Taylor recently asked Panacea to remove the limits on her power. She did. Taylor cab now control basically anything...at the cost of range, fine control, and oh yeah her sanity and ability to understand language.
Last chapter, a few capes worked together to make Bastard look something like Scion's partner had.
Ding dong, Scion is dead! Nietzsche would be proud.
Taylor basically controlled a bunch of Shakers and Changers to evoke the images of Scion's companion or other entities like them. Tattletale caught on and began directing other capes to do the same. Scion released a final burst of anger, before huddling up in a ball and letting the device Taylor had been directing every Tinker and most Thinkers to work on before her control shorted out (long story) hit his main body and kill him.
Taylor's being lead away, grateful that the purpose she sacrificed so much for is over. Her mind is still broken to pieces, which is probably good...because once she gets better, she'll realize that she basically defeated Scion by forcing him to relive her trigger event.
Wow.
And there's still another chapter before the epilogues. I wonder how wildbow will follow
that up...
