((not sure if its RP time now or not... But might as well do some flavor if we're not starting yet))

Selina saw a man, probably of collage age. She made a point to hide herself partially behind trees as she watched him. Day 13 had been when things started to get ugly for her, stupid symbolism. Some gang members had found her and tried to make something of it. She had been able to get away, her power helping greatly, but afterwards, her legs had burned for days afterward. From Day 13 on, she had had to keep herself more aware, more gangs kept coming across her hiding places, it was too much at times. Today was day 49, and she had avoided 14 different groups of gang members. She was not about to let herself be hurt again... Not like last time... The knives... Ropes... Needles... A tear ran down her cheek as she staved off the memories.

Matthew was getting used to seeing only water, he was getting the hang of noticing the patterns people made, so far he had managed to keep up the ruse that he was just blind, and so pretended to ignore the person who was looking at him.  as he listened to the sounds the birds made

Selina sighed in relief as she saw that the man seemed to be blind. It was a bit strange to see him walking around alone though... Why would a blind man be alone? Maybe he was lonely? It was unlikely he'd know her since he wouldn't have seen any news reports... But perhaps it would be best to just go and hide again... Or starve... Or finally end herself... No... She couldn't do that... Not yet...

The person seemed to be watching him, he kept moving, but somehow he could just tell she was agitated, and started to move indirectly towards her

Selina sighed in relief a little as the man began to walk seemingly past her. Maybe she would be okay today.

Matthew pretended to trip over a root(he could see it because it was transporting water) and when he got up he was moving in a slightly different direction, one that was heading closer to Selina

Selina stiffened. The man was heading towards her now. She glanced left and right, trying to see if there was anyone else around. How was he doing this if he was blind anyway!? Was it a ruse? Selina felt very anxious now.
