Hm, so...

Now we have:
6 Protector Class Light Cruisers
4 hunters
12 Revolutionary Torpedo Destroyers
92 Piranha torpedo boats
11 Cods

Against

1 Modern 5000 ton Cruiser
2 2000 ton commerce raiders
7 Destroyer Support ships 1000 ton
70 Torpedo Boat Destroyers 400 ton [Revolutionary Class refit ?]
[20?] Unknown submarine (Estimated size under 300 tons displacement)

Our losses are beyond acceptable, we lost more than half of our navy  :( Still enemy is almost without Navy and I think we can manage blockade, and we still have some 160mm guns for shore bombardment

I think we need to send albatroses to sink the last enemy cruiser, carpet bombing is a  bad way to sink ships, but here it is locked, then supress known enemy AA batteries with fire from Protectors and send a wave of Ospreys with Sparrows escorts, and, possibly Ravens to snipe biwings (freeing Sparrows for fighting with the 2enginer) \do strafing runs(were are Ravens, BTW? They aren't in the battle stats)
Don't forget to assign some Ravens\Sparrows to guard our fleet from torpedo bombers, and Hunters to look for the subs

They were not mentioned in the battle plans, and were previously relegated to secondary roles.

Also, your rolls were rather terrible.

They look rather terrible. Have there been Osprey attacks on the enemy fleet, and if so, have they been successful?
Also, are those numbers before losses or after?
And, lastly: "Our overwhelming firepower allows us to gain an almost 2 to 1 killratio". Does this mean two of our fighters vs one of theirs, or the other way around? Because the figures look more like against us (225Sparrows vs. ca. 100 twin engined or ca. 280 vs 260 total losses)

Either way considering the situation I'd count that as acceptable losses.

We engaged an enemy who had superior planes and superior ships as well as limited artillery support and decimated him, losses were unavoidable and we came through it with enough forces intact to finish this battle while our enemy is in no condition for offensive action.

Ebbor how are the 1000 reinforcements armed? Standard kit or did they receive kit better suited to close range combat? Did they carry any spare weapons with them? If they carried the right kit and extra SMG we have a huge tactical edge in infantry to infantry combat.

Yes and no
Before
You had a 2 to 1 ratio on the first day. Losses on the second day were significantly higher. (Also it appears I might not have added the enemies day 2 losses)

In any case I suggest we devote the entirety of our Osprey and Sparrow force to finishing off the enemies fleet in the area and completely repelling them our territory. If we can force them back we have a fair chance of forcing at least some of the enemy forces on Crow to surrender.

With no supply lines and under artillery shelling, aerial bombardment and with superior numbers of infantry already landed and more coming in I doubt they'll resist long but we would need a good bombing run on the enemies armor to make sure they know it's over.

Where are those 1000 reinforcements? Did they push through and reinforce the fortresses or did they just secure an initial beachhead?

And of course I just closed the window before posting...
Here's what I wrote more or less:
@10ebbor10: Thanks for the answers, and that awesome update.

Currently, we've got 6 Protectors and 4 Hunters vs. one of their cruisers.
I'd say we:
0) Hunters look for submarines and torpedo boats. Ca. half of the Ospreys do naval patrols with rockets.
1) Attack the enemy cruiser using Albatross', Ospreys and artillery bombardment
2) Suppress enemy coastal batterie(s) [1] and their AA emplacements with the protectors, air strikes on them.
3) Artillery and air support for the landed troops.
Thoughts?

I'm assuming they haven't even landed.

[1] According to Cherbourg's bombardment's results, ships are unlikely to kill coastal emplacements, but pretty good at suppressing them.

On a side note, like quite a few islands, most of the infrastructure and housing is situated around the port. Just saying.
That means carpetbombing, like an artillery bombardment, will result in significant civilian casualties and might be not advised.
Since the enemy only has one Cruiser left, we can not blockade the island and instead sink it, and thereby achieve naval superiority followed by artillery support.

@AseaHeru: Their carrier is down already, and I believe the airfield on Crow's Island is just unusable for the moment.
Also, please clarify: What do you mean by Crazy Ivan? I know of three different manoeuvres that could refer to, none of them applicable for the situation.

I think if you look at there things it will list a carrier. Atleast it did for me.

Crazy Ivan for subs is to turn full circle so that the sonar can pick up everything. It also keeps people from getting too close to your back.
