That sounds great, so rather then all of them being trained to do it we get like an overseer for each team who teaches the team on the job so to speak?

Nice, now just have to wait for the turn.

Btw in the next turn can you include our supply situation? To put this argument to rest we need to know how much more supply we're bringing in then we are using so we know how much we can expand production without needing to expand the mining again.

IIRC, the majority of the Naval investments would've gone into the Shark boats, which can't even reach Crow's Isle.

Wait.... You mean they are so not seaworthy that they can't cross quite narrow straight in friendly territory? Nor they can be transported to Crow's isle bases? Than, I must say ,they are absolutely useless....
Because, as I see it, they were designed to stop landing on the crow isle

Docks here mean larger expansion of docks. If you not  blind we made a very little  expansion (from 1000t to 1200t) last turn and we could do more
Also, we could expand production of artillery for our garrisons and many other things.
You keep saying that ramping raven's production was a superb decision, ideal one, while we had many other options

Which could have been requested as well, our nation can handle upgrades on 5-6 different factories at once UR not just 1.

It all comes down to how the rolls go, the roll for the Raven went well, the roll for the dock didn't go so well. Not doing the Raven in no way means the dock would have gone better.

The Raven is the most important of the lot, if we can completely take the skies on top of being almost ready now to produce bombers then we have an enormous edge, navy wise we might be able to win on the ocean but it doesn't help us win the whole war. To win that requires land and air, land we're so far behind that it's not an option which leaves air.

Air we have an edge and need to exploit it, to exploit it we need increased production which is why I focussed my suggestion around the Ravens and Production for aircraft.
Once we have bombers we can counter attack the enemy bombing the mainland to reduce or cripple his production of ships which then allows us to take down his navy while also giving us control of the skies and a massive edge on land.

Winning the air battle gives us an edge on land and sea as well. Winning on land is impossible for now, winning on the sea even with a bigger increase would have been very unlikely given they have superior naval tech then us. All in all our single best way to win the naval battle is first to win the air battle.

The strait is neither narrow, nor friendly.  ((Well, I wouldn't describe +-100 km narrow)). They might be able to make that, but then they need to pass by the enemy fleet's blockade, pass by our minefields, and dock in the bombed out harbor. Additionally, fuel reserves on the island aren't large.

I know 100 km is pretty ridicously short, but well, I need to put limitations because otherwise the drawbacks from short range and flaws would be meaningless.

BTW, I like how our quest for motorization of armed forces 15 years earlier hurts us in a long run, think it's explains why this process started in late thirties IRL

Hm, 100km? I somehow was sure that it's narrower... I absolutely agree that 50t boat built for speed ( i think it has raceboat's form, else I doubt it can go so fast with modest engine and so much weapons) boats will have huge problems crossing that...  Well, at least we gonna need those sharks to defend the mainland after the island will fall... Glad that I never voted for that design as I wanted 1000t destroyers

((It used to be narrower. But the change dates back to slightly before/after I've drawn the map. I do need to write those distances down somewhere.))

On a side note, the expansion policy is way less thought out and sensible than both of you are assuming.

The expansion however, was quite, luck based. Sensibilization of that is in progress.

Yeah thats what I figured, it was just a lucky roll for the Ravens and unlucky roll for the rest.

How high a % of our current supply income are we using at the moment? Since supply problems haven't been mentioned I've been operating on the pretence that we're bringing in more supplies then we're using.

There's no such thing as a supply income. There's however a measure of how stressed a given resource might be. At the moment, none are. In the future, that might change.

((A resource goes from Normal, to Limited, to rationed, to Scarce. With some intermediate steps as soon as I find some more clear adjectives.))

Heh different system to what I was using but I had the right results.

Our supply situation is perfectly fine to up production of cannons, ships and Ravens at the moment without incident. So please UR stop blaming the Raven upgrade from last turn. It was simply bad luck that my proposal did better then yours and the supplies being used are well within our means.

Have some faith Ukrainian I'm good at what I do.


I just had an idea for a nice tactic for us but we need more up to date intelligence on our enemies territory. A project for next turn.

Hey Ebbor what are the terms of our treaty with our ally?

Nothing special in particular. They buy some of our steel and industrial products, we import some of their food products. All in relatively minor amounts.
