Im thinking of a ground attack air craft

All metal monowing with twin 800kw engines in the wings.
4 cheap 10mm Mg in the cental body's nose (or should it use 15mm?)
8 groups of air to ground rocket under wings
id like to mount 30mm  auto cannons but the one we have is far more like an anti-tank gun.
Air droppable Torpedos are a maybe ?
Small 250kg bombs and dive brakes are an option but they would take up weight that can be used for guns or armor.
Armor: Thicker metal plating of 10mm around pilot and engines and light metal plating to resist

weight (2 x 3200kg = 6000kg max)
engines(2x 700kg =1400kg)
Machine guns 4x15kg = 60kg ammo?
Rockets 8x 50kg = 400kg)
Total weight 1860kg

Cost
1.5x 4= 6
airframe?
engines?

The plan of attack is use rockets to attack tanks and other hard targets then mop up with the MGs.

Don't need that. Besides, we could mount a 40mm autocannon instead. More reliable, and doesn't degrade like the 30mm does.

True we dont need it right now but we have to think a head here, it is built to be a mobile gun battery for ground attack.
The 40mm autocannon is massively too heavy for aircraft use it is 2000kg!
i am against mounting the 30mm gun that we have as it is far too heavy by a good 200kg.
maybe just loads of 10mm guns and rockets?
After all we have only a small window of a second or so to shoot in.

Yeah, that needs a LOT of launchers to be effective. And the only way we can do that is land-based batteries. Even then, those aren't likely to be too effective against armour.
