That still leaves them there to ravage the countryside. Not to mention not as propaganda-worthy as well :P

To late we already lost crow, with 5% left and and no means of transporting significant forces trying to hold the last bit is suicide, we need to finish driving back the enemy fleet so we can counter attack and fortify our beaches with mines so next time they land we're ready.

If we'd had a nice series of land mines along the beaches however we could have held that island because the enemy landing would have been a disaster.

They still may have gotten through. Just look at Omaha beach and wake atoll (where the first attack was completely SUNK by shore guns, the only instance of that).

Look at the men they lost, if we'd been better prepared on the beaches then it would have been far worse and the very least we'd hold a lot more then 5%.

If we're going to hold crow we need mines, bombing runs and to fortify what little we hold with a lot of heavy weapons.

Well, looks like my guess was right (Or closest to it.) They DID attack crow's island.

I wasn't far off.

I figured pearl harbor, except they air raided the fort not the docks.

On the plus side the enemy fleet is very short on it's biggest ships now and we have enough sparrows to overwhelm the enemy air force.
If we launch a full counter offensive, bombers hit enemy on crow, ospreys hammer the fleet and sparrows clear the skies we can probably force back the enemy fleet and start recapturing crow.
Use the subs to ferry across reinforcements with SMG and grenades to counter attack on land, it's fairly close range fighting so the SMG has a serious edge over the enemies rifle.

You may wanna put 4 in bold, I completely missed it.

Anyway we have 2 choices. Abandon crow and fortify the mainland. ( Hell no. )

Or counter attack. ( Hell yes. ) We have about 200 more sparrows then our enemy has fighters and have enhanced our sparrow so the new model is about equal to our enemies fighter this puts us in the lead in the air war now.
We have heavy bombers to hammer the enemy forces on crow.
We have a large Osprey force with which to begin hammering the enemy fleet.

So I say we bomb them to hell, send in the sparrows to secure the air over crow and send the subs to slip through any gaps our bombing runs open to land reinforcements for the small pocket of resistance armed with SMG, LMG and grenades to dig in and prepare to counter push.

We have the forces to drive them back if we hit them hard enough.
