I'm going to guess they tried landing on either our mainland, or on Crow's isle. Either one is likely due to the light tank losses they've suffered.

If one of you manages to guess what happened (accurately) before I finish the turn, you get an internet cookie.

And a special Ministery of Paranormal Intelligence overriding vote.((Which summons a Ministery of Paranormal Intelligence team to finish one of your proposals with psychic magic and bureaucracy))

let's have a shot at this then

the enemy landed on our mainland having brute forced their way through a fuckton of ships and took one of our airports, resulting in the loss of planes

It's a bit early considering that turn is infinished, but how to use the new dock?
a) Adopt one of the 10,000t ships proposed last turn or make new kickass surface combatant
b) Make our own aircraft carrier with Ospreys on board to pay visit to their ports? (but unsure if Osprey are good for that)
c) Design dedicated AA ship
d) Go crazy and do a huge sub

a) Enemy decided against assaulting the island and attacked our mainland with support from carriers, huge bombing campaign and possible para-trooping

or

b) Our another neighbor joined the war and we were attacked from there

A) seems best UR. Especially since the new punisher design means the problems with the turbine have been solved.

We sank an enemy fleet carrying tones of it's forces in home port then they bombed us to hell for it?

36 Revolutionary Torpedo boat destroyers....

Interesting, we lost every single remaining torpedo boat... Either they were destroyed in port or they bravely met enemy cruisers with torpedos

((Totally not what happened))

We still have the piranha torpedo boats UR. We're safe on that front for now.

Piranhas are MTB, a different class of vessel. But I don't like MTBs, I prefer larger ships in that kind of war, in fact see my A proposal in the game thread

Fair enough. Still, I updated the great white with the radar now that we have a version that isn't complete shit.

I think we simply must modify hunters this turn, with sonars and new hedgehogs they will be ultimate submarine killers, and we have small teams to spare

Mostly a waste since our fuel problem isn't at a point where that is critical as of yet.

Also, what happened to that peace proposal?

That depends on if they have secured a landing zone or not, if they've got a beachhead then we need tanks, mines, rpgs and other weapons to repel them from land first.

No, we'll need both naval and land assets to do that. If we can cut the enemy ground troops off first, we'll have struck them a blow that they cannot recover from, both physically and morale-wise.
