n fact difference between torpedo bombers is marginal, I just like Ravens more), See no need to discuss it further. We had two torpedo bombers projects just in case if one project will fail, not our fault that we got two lucky rolls and got two great options

Returning to my favorite stuff... Navy

Why people don't like Hunter destroyer? Yes, I'd prefer to arm it with 100-120mm but we have none... No torpedoes is a flaw, but we have enough  ways to deliver torpedoes to enemy targets
I want anti-sub ship, before we meet enemy subs, as our anti-sub capabilities are close to zero... Only Ospreys armed with bombs are good in this role, if they happen to find surfaced sub

For myself, it's due to my self-imposed limitation of only doing as many votes as we have teams, and therefore waiting to see what good ones come out. But yes, I've voted both for that and sonar (kind of useless without), plus the Raven(G) mod, putting me one over that. Damn. :P

Oh, and I'd like hedgehogs, but seeing as we don't have any anti-sub experience, they're right out.

Idea: ship more anti-shipping arty to crows' island

Idea: design emplacement AA for defending Crow Island

Idea: organise merchant shipping into convoys ( like, 2/3 destroyers/gunboats to 5 vessels) to prevent haemorrhaging

We are doing that.

We are definitely doing that.

Now there's a problem as people wanted the gun-vessels used offensively, while LCS/torp bombers acts as a screen to convoys.

In both cases we need better gun, for anti-shipping Ukrainian Ranger 320mm gun should give us a good 30 kilometres clear zone.
AA wise we really need new 40mm gun with a focus on a high muzzle velocity and rapidly fire continuously for minutes at a time just to fill the air with shot.
Water cooling and powered mounts for multi linked guns are going to be a must.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Hey what happened with 3.1? Shouldn't our aircraft team have worked on it since it was the only air project?

Ok, positives. aircraft wise we've crossed the disadvantage line and now are well inside the 2-1 ratio, the Osprey performed beautifully and with 60 produced and only 14 lost we'll have a significant force in action in short order.

Down side, we didn't get the plane design and will have to do it again this turn setting us back a little, I'd suggest carrying over 3.1, it's far more useful then 3.

Would you count the fighter  if it was sub, not counter?

Problem is that 90%, enemy will bring newer fighter soonish...  And Naval war goes quite badly even with their cruisers out of battle for one turn

Should note that two projects are basically worthless (Radar and cheaper MG) and one is more "longtermish" (Tankette) But new vessels should help us to changing the course of war

They'll bring newer then the Raven at best, the odds of them going from inferior to the Raven to better then a Monowing we build is tiny, so we need that monowing in the air fast to mop up.

That tank is an issue that needs solving, luckily it's an easy one to solve and fits what I wanted anyway.

An RPG has all kinds of use, not least the fact that most landing craft are bulky, pretty slow and don't have great armor. Perfect targets to blow a hole in the side of before they reach the shore.

Votes are votes. A counter with 3 votes (unless the original had 3 or more, that is) is the same as a submission with 3 votes
