tonight I'll be an hour and half late ( roughly). feel free to start without me and GM control astalinn. My first action should be to extinguish myself, obviously.

( also, dibs on the ring)

Unfortunately what I was worrying about happened and Saturdays no longer are a good day for me, and since that is the only day my game can be hosted I am going to have to cancel it indefinitely.

I am having a problem getting into d20 as well... If I cannot get in can someone please make sure my players know? I don't know when I'll be awake.

There needs to be an emoticon beyond D: for shock and horror, that really sucks. I enjoyed reading through the chat logs even if I couldn't spectate while it was on because of the simultaneous games, and I know you put a lot of effort into making everything.

Ooh, what happened in my absence?

We fought a demi-earth elemental who wounded me quite heavily, found loot, including a ring of protection +1, more alchemist's fire, two masterwork daggers (visibly), a bit of gold, etc. Currently... well, we are in this dungeon's final  battle against a bunch of cultists and an arcanist (visibly), and were having a tactical blunder, but it seems the fight is in our favor now.

I still have my Enlarge Person for you.

one less fighter in the party XD.

No, the new guy's ANOTHER fighter with another STR score that makes Deathwin feel unappropriate.

Talking of STR scores, party average is exactly 16 now.

You'll have to see with Shooer though, we're already 6.
Yes, Naryar, I got it the first time you wrote hence the "party-gap filler". I will fill the gap should there be one.
But to do so, gotta be present anyway. ; ]

Sorry about that, I tend to repeat myself. Doesn't matter now, heh.

I must say, what's with the 16wis ? You planning to multiclass, going Iron Will and be functionally immune to every mind-affecting effect, or is it for flavor and roleplaying?

Front line is best line.
Never were truer words spoken! I like you, Carn.
Indeed, Carn spokes the truth.

Even though his fighter is more of an archer than a sword-and-board fighter now. Heh.

Hey now Neon, that sounds like you're saying I quit. I forgot the weekend before last (which I posted in the roll20 chat in what would have been late in the session for that day except we didn't have one), and last weekend was not possible for me to attend (which I posted about in this forum). Was looking forward to this session, though.
Tuv was playing because I was playing, so as long as I kept playing (which I intended to do), he would have probably kept playing. Idk about Matt or the new guy, though, and Gamer was into it, so it sounds like 1 person jumped ship and told you and the rest you just assumed, and for at least two of them I think you are wrong.

If we can't do the sessions then we can't do the sessions, but I just wanted to clear that up.

Then I am glader and sadder at the same time.

I am glad most of those people weren't jumping ship. Though Saturdays just becoming less and less possible for me and there just isn't anyway to make up games.

Mind you, either way I cannot do this with whether or not I can run a game being in the air often the day before. It isn't fair to the players.

The story so far.

Decided to write a recap for our newest player.  Probably forgot a detail or 3, but it should be the gist of it.

If my game doesn't end up being picked back up, I'll tell shooer the conclusion.

Good story, will be helpful for the plot. Maybe we should introduce the players and the player's decision as well ? If you want help on writing it...

Kjell checked the vase and found that there was something inside, slipped his hand in and found the vase empty and then couldn’t get it off his arm.  He smashed it easily against the railing.

...What ? Was the vase a particularly important plot point, or are you including it just to poke fun at me ?

Maybe, maybe not.  We'll see.

My apologies; I'll be a bit late. Should be there an hour after it's started at the latest. Should.

It's both RP-based and I had a 16 lying around. Wis is a pretty good stat for a fighter to have.

I liked how we managed proper tactics fighting 6 commoners, but against a CR5 jibbering mouther we fell apart. DreX exploding cthulhu in one hit was hilarious. Then he proceeds to lose 70% of his HP in a single turn, hah. Rolep playing the bard and rolling 1 on HP just seems so fitting, too.

Those two water elementals were bros though. I take it you thought the mouther might be too hard half way through, Shooer? I wonder where they came from...

(maybe that guy we couldn't find used some silver stuff to dimensional portal his way out of the basement? It would explain why we couldn't find any traces of him)

To be fair, we could have taken that mouther.
