oh god why on earth would you play a paladin

and pack mule, I guess.

Nah, our bard has 9 str.
Well, for one, it's a major part of my traditional lance-based mounted charger build. Celestial Elephant mount, mounted charging feats, Large size Half-Giant, and Huge lance. Ideally, you can get 20 strength at first level, and you'll end up doing upwards of a hundred damage in one charge.

Also, paladins are a fun archetype to mess with.

In addition, I think the next time I make a Pathfinder character I might try a Stonelord. +6 AC and DR 10/Adamantine at 20th level.

Deciding what is or is not a non-fighting need is a non-fighting need, thus I am in charge of it.

And no, a training dummy is not a non-fighting need. Cleaning up horse-shit isn't even a need in the first
place, as we aren't staying in one place long enough for it to matter.

And if you want your stuff dumped on the ground because you people don't know how to choose weapons that aren't Buster Swords, go ahead and use me as pack mule. Or, you know, use the actual pack mule that I'm mind-controlling.
Hey, I have a perfectly reasonably sized twelve foot long pike, thank you very much.

Also, massive two-handed warhammers are better than big swords.

this one is actually false, so far. our first and second adventurers were both less than a day long, and there was a long time between them ( something like a week). It is possible that for the next level or 2, we will spend most of our time in the city.

but ok, your duties can be negotiated.

No; I just realized somethng amazing.

All of you are compensating for your low Charisma(and thus, inability to get ladies/other things relating to ladies ;)) by carrying around huge weapons. Daethwin is the only one with both a high charisma and no gigantic weapon.

Thus, it must be concluded that he is better than the ladies than any of you, and feels no need to compensate for his low strength with a large weapon. It also means he probably doesn't need to comensate for other things, either...

Edit: Negotiation is a non-fighting need, thus I am in charge of it.

.. That's an odd mental image.

Especially the elephant.

Considering our kind of "negotiations" use Strength instead of Charisma, no, he can't.

Hah. I need nothing more than my Strength and Intelligence to swoon the ladies, Mr. I-have-18-in-a-girly-stat.

Besides, you are being rather cheeky for a pack mule. Maybe a meeting with my +8 grapple bonus will silence that tongue...

If you can come close enough to me for it to matter.

Grease.

I'll probably start taking Escape Artist ranks as soon as it's practical. Grease gives a bonus on them too, if I remember right.

Also, why would you attack me instead of the hulking monstrosity over there?Silent Image, Ghost Sound It obviously ate our friend Fighter #1. That's why it's where he was. *Bluff check*

I need more skill points, by the way. >.> Damn Archaeologist not giving 8+int bonus per level.

It's not innuendo, it's player bonding between males !

Not bonding in that sense though, as likely as this looks.

So yeah, I'm not so sure about how to build a personality for Kjell.

I already have ideas - he's rather proud, easy to anger, and boisterous, but his goal in life is very sagelike - to acquire knowledge and discover nature. Nothing more though - any ideas ?

EDIT: I've also been working on speculative feat paths, if anyone wishes to comment.

On that matter...

Definitely combat patrol/mobility/lunge. You're partly a battlefield control fighter.

Spring Attack I don't see the point. You already have the best reach of our group anyways, and we can buff you with Enlarge Person for crazy 20-25ft reach Lunge longspear shenanigans.

Power Attack yes. You are a melee build after all.

Vital Strike and the vital strike tree: Maybe. I'm not so sure.

You should get Weapon Focus and Specialization, of course. But then again you're mainly a cleric, so maybe spellcasting feats ?

Heh, it's funny that I say that when at least 2/3 of my projected feats are grappling or punching oriented. But then again lategame CMD's are so hilariously high I have to take 5 feats to boost up my grapple modifier and it's STILL not enough.

Heh. The spring attack doesn't seem to work much with this, but the idea was to be able to deal with any enemies who show up who actually outrange me.
The Vital strike tree gives even more primary attack damage, for quicker takedowns.
And the Impaling Strike feats are just plain cool.
Haha, mainly a cleric :D.
Well, you've got to practice your punching to stay competitive in the strength battle, eh?

Yes. I've been thinking taking Weapon Focus (IUS), Dragon Style and Dragon Ferocity, Kirin Style and Kirin Strike, and a level or more of Master of Many Styles to mix the two for hilarious damage bonuses on my first 1d6 unarmed strike.

Maybe weapon specialization (IUS) if I end up taking Eldritch Knight. Although it's hard to be good at 3 things at a time (that is, grappling, punching and spellcasting)

I've been thinking of letting you guys take care of the DPR part, but yeah.
