I will try to play in Neonivek's campaign (because me + Neonivek can only mean good times), but I'd like to know at least a little bit of what we'd be doing and some of the logistics. Saturday time slots, correct?

Just know that I've got the position of Barbarian.

Nah, 3pm -5 means that it's 5 hours 'behind' GMT, which means to get the GMT time you add +5. It would be about 8 PM GMT.

That is because Gamelord was translating 8pm GMT (0) to the location where he wuz.

I'm more interested in plot and story and somesuch and anything specific. I tend to focus on RP stuff. That said, maybe looking at a Cleric or Oracle.
Is there anything you're going to divulge to us Neonivek, or are we just going to roll with it come Saturday? Are we following all the same rules as in the OP?
