Could I set up a crossbow too large for my proper use on a stand and use it that way?
((I saw a Star Wars RP game where someone tried to use a Jawa as a stand for a heavy blaster gun.))

Oh look, I have a steam account.
Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

*Takes notes.*

When can I get the Leadership feat?

I could DM if we had a decent program to use that every one agreed upon.  I have like a few campaign ideas I could do, all in various states (some partially used and some that have never seen the light of day).

I have plenty of experience DMing, the D20 system.  Just none online.

Edit: I've played and DMed 3.0, D20 (some call 3.25 or the test bed for 3.5), 3.5 and pathfinder.  I can also find a few PDFs that some people could barrow.

I would recommend signing up for roll20.net. If you start your own test campaign there is a DM video that teaches you about the various options. It actually is very dynamic. You can either have preset "pages" or "scenes" ready to go, or you can do it on the fly. You can add backgrounds to the scene as well as NPC creatures. Lots of awesome stuff available.

Alright, then. I'll just need some Charisma.

((I'd suggest a sorcerer, but they get a penalty for having a familiar, for some reason. Bard, maybe?))

Alright folks I updated the OP with folks that have shown interest. I would recommend that Shooer take a glance over Roll20 for all the possible features and the rest of us sign up and post our Roll20 names so Shooer can invite to the campaign.

I have heard a lot of good things from my friends who are running Pathfinder, so I vote we give it a shot. There are plenty of resources for rules out there, and if we stumble through things that's alright.

I've been wanting to get into a PnP type of game for a while now.
At the same time I've been wanting to avoid it because I am rather terrible at holding obligations and such.
Plus there's the whole 'I'll just slow everyone down' bit.
It's rather frustrating to be honest =p

Level 7 is for Leadership, although crossbows are 2handed weapons and anything larger you cannot wield.  Once you get that size, it starts becoming 'ballistae' and you use the rule for siege weapons instead.  There actually are rules for portable small balista, which take a small time to deploy and can be loaded and fired by one person, albeit slowly.

ALSO I'm always in for a game.

Nothing says we have to make it super complicated :) Since it seems like most folks are new-ish to Pathfinder we could do a fairly easy campaign with a few standard crawls to get everyone used to the rules and in the mood! Nothing says you can't have a dwarven artillery either. Whatever is fun for folks.

I'll be working on a concept.

Remuthra has claimed a Craftsdwarf's Workshop!

My roll20 name is Chris S.

I'm probably gonna be a half-orc cleric/fighter

but it's definitely not set in stone.
